You're lucky to be a Hawaiian and be able to see and be with Kalapana from the start. I can only be with them thru 45"s, cassette tapes and now cd's dvd's and the net., yet i'm stil crazy over them! I was introduced to Kalapana songs when I started appreciating smooth jazz, fushion, bossanova and all that at age 11. that was in '78. That's the time I fell in love with the group especially Mackey. It's so sad seeing him in this physical condition, all worn out b4 passing away... RIP Mackey!
Guys- this is 1st time in over 40yrs I listened to you- was looking for Billy Kaui n saw you guys- loved you back then in Baldwin High auditorium. On this song “naturally” man I was let down - rushed thru it. I get cannot be too fun yr after ur- BUT for whatever reason you doing it stills. Difference between greats that do same hits yr after yr is somehow they keep fresh.
