Man, those groupers! Love em wish we had them as thick here in TX as y’all do. What sort of bottom were you fishing and what depth?
It was live bottom and we were in about 60 feet of water. Always look for the fish show that'll tell you whether you're on a good spot or the desert !

What kind of knot do you use to tie your manofilament or fluorocarbon leader to your braided line?
FG Knot! Second to that would be a double UNI.
