After having a season back in the books I was getting many notes from friends and students on how the mental preparation was going for me. So I'll attempt to explain it here. The other noticeable item for me was how so many were trying to get back on the field, but really struggling.
Again, I hope this starts to address some of the issues and serves as a reminder that you have to keep digging and working at it both physically and Mentally if you wish to deliver your own Awesome Performances.
Remember musicians, it's not about you and how you played, it's about how the listener gets to enjoy it so take some time to make that experience as good as you actually can.

Hi Bruce. I have been telling anybody that I teach to go to see solo competitions so they can see top grade pipes and hear what a set of pipes should sound like. If you are playing, I tell them you are a must see.
Everybody has off days. Keep going. Thanks for the great music.
