I'll be bringing you along with me as I come off a forced 7-week break from the pipes
After a nasty wee fall on Nov 12th which resulted in a sprained Shoulder, you'll get to see behind the scenes how I practice and how I face the playing, tuning, and maintenance demons to get going again. This is no different than any one of you though. I won't kid you, it's tough, especially at the start with limited playing power and a lot of pain too fast, but I get inspired through reading, and my own passion to "go out on my terms" if possible and that time is not yet!
I"m NOT looking for cheers and hurrahs, I'm just trying to commit to getting back to being "match fit" and this helps to keep me going. Plus, it may help some of you to realize that it's just not easy playing pipes after a break, we're all the same.
