Had Tim Pychyl as a prof. while studying psychology at Carleton back in the early 90's. The class was Developmental Psych. He was the best post-secondary teacher I have had. Passionate, kind, a real person and a true teacher.

I love the idea of using a "future self" to attain goals, but now for me it seems very abstract and I would like it to make this something real and present in my life.

Great interview, I'm definitely checking out the book, wow! Procrastination is definitely one of my top challenges, especially when I start doing it, don't 'feel' like getting out of the spiral and resort to dumb compulsive behaviours

I love how mr Pychyl allows himself to mix in some of the eastern philosophies, instead of maintaining a hard rigorous scientific line.
