It's important to note that real skeletons were used during the filming of the scene where JoBeth Williams's character fell into the muddy unfinished pool in the backyard, four cast members mysteriously died after the filming of the series, and a real exorcism was performed by one of the cast members after filming wrapped up one night. I'm sure the listing agent never mentioned any of that.
When you buy a house there is literally a clause for that kind of thing. It's on the buyer to investigate and find out if there was anything unsavory that happened in the house during the inspection period. After that you can't contest even if you do find out. They don't have to disclose it on the Seller Disclosure.
I believe pretty much everything in the house was filmed on a set except for the kitchen, which you can definitely tell they filmed in the actual house.
4 bedrooms, 1.5 baths? And look at those bronze metal windows. Every seal on those must be busted. Hopefully this is not in a HOA. Replacement in bronze vinyl is expensive. You have to add UV stabilizers and color, much more so than with white coloring. Requiring the same color with replacement windows in bronze is about the least economical thing you can do, for the stupidest reason.
Looking at the kitchen makes me think immediately of a steak crawling with maggots.
The kitchen is practically the same as it was when the film was made.
I liked the staircase they used on the set. Also the theme music by Jerry Goldsmith really was beautiful.
Yeah the scene where all the ghosts were coming down the staircase was really eerie and freaky, that music really was so good!

That was over 40 years ago and it has nothing to do with the people dying, they all died for different reasons.
@Mrd9960 Then why don't you purchase that house if your brave enough
Myself i'm not walking through any type of hexes
@@djmars1983 Well the previous owners or owner is still ok and alive, since they are the original owner, since 1979, so....
I grew up in the East Coast & when I saw this in the theater.. California cool everything. Even in a suburban setting that was haunted

It's important to stress that the house and Simi Valley weren't really built on a cemetery as portrayed in the film.
lol Fr!
Or as portrayed in this video. They failed to emphasize that.
It's important to stress that the house didn't disappear as portrayed in the film.
@@spinsandneedles😂😂😂
that Poltergeist film must been getting Academy Awards back then🏆
Wait this is in Simi Valley?!
Roxbury street in Simi Valley
I'll take it. ASAP
I Pass on it because can you imagine being alone at night
Only 1.2 million?? Can’t get that price for all that in L.A.
$1.2 million!? For Simi Valley?
Yes their are many here in that price range
I always wanted that house since i was a little girl. At 1 million i guess ill have to wait a bit longer.
You have courage, for it's like moving in to the house where the Exorcist was filmed
Owners paid 143k
And the smog was so thick your lungs would burn just breathing it.
Old, needs a lot of work. Amazing, lol😂
In my opinion it has that 70's years feeling wich makes it unique. If I had 1.2 million dollars I would finitelly buy it . Such an amazing pool.
@@juancruz-jg5pqYeah I like it the way it is! I was expecting it to look like a tear-down inside when I read the OP comment 😂
@@nbaoldgirlit’s actually almost a tear down. The pool is also not “amazing” 😅
@@GruneDI politely disagree friend 😅😅😅
Everything is outdated in that house, multiple floors 😅
