I have never had to catch a duck and anyone I ever saw trying to catch a duck just chased it around until they caught it. I have to say the simplicty and effectiveness of using the metal basket in the pond is primitive genius. Did I see a food vendor at the market? Love to get food at those when I can and enjoy seeing others at your market and the different types of goods and food your local population enjoy. Hope Husband is better?
That plant that you're feeding the pigs might be easier on your back to harvest using the scythe Duong made a while ago. I guess it depends on whether you need to dig out the roots though...
You could add ducks to the farm lake since they sold so fast. All you need is a ramp so they can walk in to and out of the lake and a fenced in feeding and nesting area. Another useful addition to your permaculture farm.😊 The Jackfruit trees are AMAZING! How wonderful that your tree nursery did so well 😊 II imagine your chickens and fish would like that green vegetable too.
Hoàng, As a traditional wild duck hunter from Texas where we may harvest three ducks on a good day I am impressed by your efficiency and effectiveness with which you worked. Nice job.
I fully understand that farmers who raise animals & sell them certainly have that right. They hopefully took care of them humanely & gave them good happy lives while they are being raised in their farms. I actually admire hard working farmers. It's NOT an always the easiest life to choose. Lots of hard work involve for sure. My only discomfort when watching this video is the way the ducks are being handled, packed & transported by seller & customers. I wish they did more with care & not stuff the ducks in plastic bags without giving them more ventilation to breath. I'm NOT vegan or vegetarian, so I eat meat. I'm not criticizing or disagreeing with eating ducks or any other meat. I just think it can be done a little more humanely. Give the animal a happy life while raising them & selling them. God Bless. :)
Totally agree. I stopped watching the video from the point of them being stuffed into a plastic bag. I was upset watching them all crammed into the cages. And hearing them cry out was just enough. 😢
