The cream in that chocolate donut at 9:40 might have had alcohol in it while it was being prepared. The chocolate donut might have had pork enzymes in it.

Salam Alaikom. I was living in Japan for 12 years. Please be careful of the Bread you are eating because in Japan most of the Bread is made by shortening Animal Fats Lard. You have to read the ingredients before you eat any Bread in Japan. Nodels most of the Noodles Ramen they use soup mixed with pork bones or pork skin. Japanese are fun of eating pork . They call it Botaniko.

AsSalam alaykum brother. Happy to hear you visited my country! I know this info is coming to you a little late, but you have to be careful with prepackaged food in Japan because they put gelatin, margarine, shortening, etc (without labeling whether it is sourced from animals or vegetables) in almost everything.

@@MsStormdust Vegetarians are not common in Japan, so many food producers don’t see them as a demographic worth catering to. Since one of the main religions of Japan is Buddhism, of course you can find foods without meat in them, but they don’t produce or market special food for vegetarians.
      Alhamdulillah I was born Muslim.

@@1541965 Walaykum sSalam. Yea there was a very good Facebook post of a list of haram ingredients for people who can’t read Japanese. It used to be constantly updated with Japanese terms and English translations, but I can’t find it anymore.

I'm not Haram police, I'm asking this because I MYSELF would like to visit Japan, but isn't visiting foreign countries Haram? I hope there's an answer for if it is/isn't under the circumstances WITHOUT your intention being to: 1) Trade 2) Give Dawah etc. Jazak Allah Khair ♥
