Great video! About the cons you had : you can use the eyedropper tool by pressing alt, you don't need to switch to the tool, by pressing alt you can use eyedropper and it'll change on its own when alt is released. As for the B shortcut, you can Go to file>shortcut settings, change the Tool in the setting area and simply remove the B from the brush packs you are not using. Csp is a very versatile tool and very customizable!
AnnaSok, I still tune in and hope you're doing well and succeed in everything you do. New starts are always full of intrigue as new insights occur with every new discovery. It's nice of you to share what you've discovered with us. All the best.
May be too late but I'll post this too. • You can set the holding time for key shortcuts in the Preferences. Or like mine, I use one of the pen stylus' button key to "Alt+Left Click" for the droper tool. • I set "B" for brush but only left one tab/tool for it. Or delete the other keys shortcuts associated with "B" key.
@@AnnaSok_Art you're welcome! 😅 I'm using CSP for like about 2 months? Not sure. One I miss using is the Liquify tool from PS. But there's a powerful mesh transform in CSP that I slowly getting used to.
Not sure if this is in the trial but using the assets menu you can actually use and manipulate 3D models in Clip. I've downloaded a Model off the Clip community shop and was able to use it like a doll to help me with certain poses.
Hello Anna, you can change the time of switching tool that is confusing you under preferences/tool/switch tool temporarily. Check the the box that says (switch tool temporarily by pressing and holding shortcut key). I have mine set to 150 ms. so it switches back really quick after a hold of the key is initiated. Basically what it does is it converts a regular key to act like a modifier key. Regular tap and it switches to that tool, but a hold will switch to that tool and go back to the previous tool when you release the key. Hope that helps.
to change de shortcut.. um can remove the other tools from B.. u can use more than one tool in the same short cut.. like a line, one touch is the first second touch is the second. you got it... example P is for pen > pencil > pen... this part of hold and some times doenst came back to the previous tool happen to me too.. i think when the change is too fast.. but most of time is amazing software.. i just remember photoshop for liquify..
@@AnnaSok_Art another good feature is to paint in transparent collor feels like eraser but you can keep the shape and texture of your brush, i use the swap betewen color and transparent in my pen button
@@AnnaSok_Art The most interesting one definitely the auto-colorize which can help the basic colour, and those creative brushes. The end result is beautiful. That was super interesting. I usually use the free Medibang paint on PC, I heard CSP is very similar, though Medibang doesn’t have that auto colorise. It does have cloud brushes and assets like CSP (Clip has much, much more).
@@shyhrk oh wow, I haven't tried that one yet! Do you like Medibang? Also yes, the colorization was so fun! I love the various hues at my disposal I could colorpick. Definitely makes the painting look more alive. 😍
@@AnnaSok_Art I like Medibang for it simplicity and price tag (free, haha). It’s a very lightweight program so I rarely found any stutter or crashing (compared to photoshop). Natural brushes and blending is something I find a little lacking here... (compared to procreate).

I adore CSP :D Moved over from PS more than a decade ago - this was very fuN!

@@AnnaSok_Art NP. I am also loving clip studio. I am on the road a lot. I wanted a program that i can take with me on the go with the ipad.
Are you familiar with Bob Ross art technique? Could you do this style on a digital tablet? I would love to try it if possible
great idea! :)

Apparently Procreate is only available for Ipad. Not available for android or windows. 😠
