The Hilleberg Bivanorak is pretty nice as long as its not too warm outside. It weighs half a kilo, and functions as full body raingear, windbreaker, or a "bivy" that allows you to sit up and cook food or whatever. When used as raingear, it doesnt have as good ventilation as a rain poncho, but still MUCH better than a rain jacket - and it is roomy enough to cover a fairly sizeable backpack too.

Comment Section Expert and official Swede-to-be checking in.
Unfortunately, they don't sell the Abisko tarp in the US. I've been eyeing various Dyneema ones, but they are super pricey. The ones intended for hammock camping have the most versatility with all their tie out points. The tarp I currently have is a 4mx4m one that goes up over a picnic table when car camping; too big for the trails.
Ted, you will be happy to hear I am the proud new owner of a Kajka 75; it has yet to arrive. It's my new winter camping expedition pack. It was such a tough decision between it and a Keb 72, but in the end the front loading of the Kajka won out over the side-zippered Keb. I need full unrestricted access to those big bulky winter items. Singi heater just got 2 coats of wax last night in preparation!

My wife also has a Keb Hike 30 and it is really nice
But I am 2 meters tall and it just fits so badly on a tall man, just like their other Daypacks are made really really small - It's unbelievable that Fjällräven can't figure out how to make Daypacks that fit tall people - Love my Keb 72 but which is great for tall people, but I can't go with it on day trips, so on day trips I use Osprey Talon, although the Fjällräven is better, but it doesn't help when they it is too small.
