Please review the third point (12:53). It should have been 'Snickers sold more chocolate bars than Mars (Mars is missing) by a ratio of two to one'. Otherwise, this video's just perfect. Thank you Dennis.
Love you mate and your channel, best IELTS preparation channel. You people are awesome.
Hi. Is it grammatically correct to use "prefer....than...? or prefer .....to .......? More people preferred public transport to taxis or than taxis.
Absolutely correct to say preferred/to instead of preferred/ than.
Thank you for that observation.
Thanks sooooo much for your video. I find this really helpful as I wanna achieve band 7 in writing, but I'm sorry, there is something wrong with the video from 17:31-18:56, can somebody explain that to me?
Up for this!
Thank for providing variety of vocabulary for task 1 . Amazing way to teach students.
Why video Stuck at 17:30 ?
Thank you , for a great leason , I'm looking forward for more 💓👍
Best my best is the best channel for IELTS!
Thanks for sharing all these lessons, plenty of vocabulary to excel :)
Thank you for the video! Could you explain why it is correct to say "prefer public transport THAN taxies", not "prefer public transport TO taxiies"?
I think 'to' is right. The sentence is an omitted version of 'more people preferred public transport to taxis than people preferred taxis to public transport'.
@@GeorgeChuy thank you!
@@nadezhdarukavishnikova4609 not at all.
That is a great presentation. Thank you, Dennis!
Really helpfull nd absolutely it will dwarf our performance
Everything Logically Explained 👌👌
A really useful video, but unfortunately it lags starting from 17-30.
If not u i would check my internet connection infinitely 😂😂😂
@@zuzuzu1704 me also, I thought some network issue but it is a video issue. Video lagging problem outraced the network issue😅😅
I am grateful for the excellent lesson you've shared, thank you.
Hello! I've got a question: When we make comparisons with the verb "prefer", shouldn't use "rather than" or "to" instead of mere "than"?
For instance: Overall, a higher number of people preferred public transport rather than taxis. OR ...preferred public transport to taxis. What do you think about it? Many thanks!
I’ve got the same question.
I think 'to' is right. The sentence is an omitted version of 'more people preferred public transport to taxis than people preferred taxis to public transport'.
Great and adorable teacher
Are these two also valid - the figure “of” and or the number “for”? Thx
My exam after three weeks wish me luck
what u got
What was the result? of course, if you don’t mind.
@@lauren9624 6.5 and bro I should’ve got 7 but the reading section was a hell of a mess lamo I panicked and I chose the answers randomly so don’t do that🙏🏻
Listening: 6.5 speaking:7 reading:5.5 writing:6 overall: 6.5
My advice is just to be cool and don’t panic and FOCUS if u want a higher score.
For me 6.5 as a first time is good but I need at least a 7 and am close to it will surely take it again
I wish you all the best and remember there’s a first time of everything
@@Randomlywatchingu Thank you for your advice! I’m also suffering from reading! I always get 5.5 in mock exams ! I hate it 💔.
@@lauren9624 it’s okay. I know it’s a problem but it can be solved! You can focus on what you are really good at! So you can have a higher mark there and get out of a higher score! Am working in the speaking and the writing and also the listening if I got a really high score in them I will definitely have more than 6.5 🌞
Plz also show the comparison video under 2 charts
I thought when the word prefer is used in a sentence when talking about two things, preposition 'to' is supposed to be used and not 'than' as was used in few of the sentences...
Helpful 🎉
4:28 propotion
You haven't upload the process chart video 🙄 ??????

I have learned plenty of things in one video.

can someone explain me abt "studying" what kind of grammar is it ?
reduce relative clause, my friend. For example: "a man who is playing the guitar is my father", or you can write "a man playing the guitar is my father".
It would be better if these words could be used in a sample answer
Thanks :3
7:33 you wrote PREFERED wrong : THERE İS NO double FF

Sorry, during watching, this video is interrupted many times. It make me uncomfortably. You should avoid these mistakes in the future.

Hi Dennis , according to your experience what are the types of questions asked in writing task 1. I only need level 7 and donot have time to prepare because I already have a handful of work. So I am working to get level 7. Can you pls advise me the best way I can prepare while working without talking any classes from any professional. I watch youtube video when I am free. I love your video and I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks once again for your great videos.
Thank you
So I can say “The proportion of people preferring cola falls short of those preferring pepsi”
Is the use of “fall short” like this correct? 🤔🤔🤔
The video got views three times as many as other youtubers :D
So happy to find your channel
I wonder in the sentence "Overall, people taking public transport outnumber(s?)... " is it correct to put s?
Author probably thought, he was saying the word proportion not people)
all of you are excellent teachers... I love you all,,,
Thank you very much. You are the best. Very useful lesson.
Great explanation 👍 Thanks for the fantastic lessons! ❤️
Greatful❤
Thank you for a great presentation. I appreciate it. As I understand, dwarf has a similar meaning to exceed. However, according to dictionary, it said "to make something seem small by comparison". I am on the fence. Could someone plz help me explain it?
Preferred or preffered
17:33 it get stuck
Number of is not unusual instead of this we can use healthy part of people. Such as HEALTHY PART OF people want to live in urban areas
I thought people prefer something to another and not than..
what is the last point that he mentioned when we say five times i didn't get it, can you explain it please?

Is it ok to paraphrase the question saying;the graph provide accounts of men and women studying philosophy..
what is the last point that he mentioned when we say five times i didn't get it, can you explain it please?
