Each one of the versions are set differently. Watching a non-original version also did not pull me at first. But the original videos did paint the whole picture. The trilogy was perhaps not meant for non Metalica fans, as we all know the thrash style that they're known for. Yet, this subtle change in each version, I think is meant to connect to a wider audience. The Unforgiven, in my opinion, is not the "You", but the oppressors of you. Hence the lyric "You're the unforgiven too". As in the first song, the oppressors were "dubbed" the unforgiven. Anyway just my thoughts. Did not particularly like the reaction, but we all have our own appinions, and we differ in this case.
Aww I've legit never heard anyone dislike this song before. Usually even the deep Load/Reload haters usually admit Unforgiven II and the Memory Remains are awesome songs. To me this one just has the most powerful sound of all 3

I agree, I like Metallica all the way through their country period. It's not the same but it is still good, and to me it felt like what they genuinly wanted to do, the opposite of selling out. To me it seems that started with St. Anger. The part in Some Kind if Monster where Lars is saying they shouldn't do guitar solos because all the popular nu metal bands don't do solos is very telling.

The "truck" is actually an old harmonica sample from the old 60's westerns. The first Unforgiven had that spanish guitar, western feel, that's what that's about. Also, The Unforgiven Trilogy is generally accepted as a three part story of the narrator looking back on his life, Unforgiven is about society and how he became bitter, Unforgiven II is about finding a kindred spirit, who in the end, sold him out too, hence, "I take this key and I bury it in you, because you're unforgiven too", it sounds like a sexual metaphor, but it's really a metaphor for him cutting her out of his life too, the key being a metaphorical knife, because he can't take it anymore. This song is not a happy ending. It's probably the saddest of the trilogy. You have to pay attention to, "sick and tired, I stand/i'm still alone, because you're unforgiven too". Unforgiven III is about the man as the old man he spoke about in the first Unforgiven, looking back on his life, realizing all of his problems were his own fault and he could have changed it.
Really? Not a single remindment of St Anger? I mean A N G E R, the song in itself isn't that bad just the drum sound. Can't say the same for the rest of the album though (except for the bad drums :v)

Unforgiven is Metallica ballads. Listen to Master of Puppets, Creeping Death, For Whom The Bell Tolls, Battery In the Load and Reload albums Metallica was mixning blues, country and metal.
i would recommend God that Failed - Metallica and the "of Wolf and man" also by metallica if you want heavy. If you want something slow i would recommend "until it sleeps" and "turn the page" ( cover ) and "mama said". Keep up with the good work
VinAnd Sori BTW there's an absolutely amazing acoustic live version of Until It Sleeps, I REALLY recommend it, IMO it's almost better than the studio version. ...And yeah Unforgiven 2, Until It Sleeps and Mama Said are from two albums they did during the 90's which are very folk/country inspired (they like trying new stuff), it took me a while before I came around but then I realized there are some REAL gems in there; like Bleeding Me, Low Man's Lyric, Outlaw Torn, Ronnie.
Tabakator For my taste, God that Failed is the best song off the black album. I !istened to it every day for like a week not long ago. That's an album that is perfect, even if thrash lovers diss it. I love thrash too but I can't deny how perfect 'Metallica' is. Unforgiven II is my favorite of the three.
everyone knows that black album is a masterpiece and the most complete metallica album. It is a big change but also a big step forward. The only album i dont realy like is st anger.
Since you're doing sagas, I have one for you. Iron Maiden did a saga about a character called Charlotte. The songs are as follows (in order): Charlotte the Harlot 22 Acacia Avenue Hooks In You From Here To Eternity
I just stumbled upon this channel and I'm binging all your videos because I love how in depth your analysis of the music is. You 2 have a unique balance of tastes and perspective. I feel like Vin brings a fundamental understanding of music theory and he can process the music from a trained musician's ear where as Sori has a deeper emotional connection to the music in my opinion. Her input is much more based in subconscious and abstract feelings. Together you create this very full critical review of the source material. It's honestly very interesting to bare witness to the method in which you 2 dissect these like no other reaction channel really does. Looking forward to more videos. Naturally, I do have a suggestion that I think you guys might like. I saw you checked out Bleed by Meshuggah...You should consider checking out Clockworks. It's one of their most complex songs as its very, very difficult to lock down the rhythm. I can't headbang to it as much as I want to. Its hard hitting and intense. Its aggressive right out of the gate and I know Vin likes solos. The solo in Clockworks was written with fusion jazz in mind but if you remember Bleed, their style is extremely different. I'd love to hear you guys try and pick it apart. It's very complicated when you get into the poly-rhythms of the drumming and the song structure is almost impossible to decipher on a first listen. Plus it half way into the song it has probably the meanest sounding breakdown in metal history. But yeah, sorry for the giant text wall...keep up the good work guys!
I have been enjoying various reaction videos of late and came upon your channel today. I enjoy the range of thoughts that you get into after exploring these pieces of art. Personally, I enjoy metallica's range. I've been waiting for someone to discover this trilogy and explore it. Foremost however, I think that this experience allows the two of you to go on a journey together.
This is one of the most beautiful rock songs ever. Favorite of the trilogy. I think it's most people's favorite actually. Check out the comments below guys. Many people are saying this too. I respect your opinion and your immediate reaction, but these songs are beautiful ballads, not extreme heavy thrashers. Hetfield is trying to tell a story. You have to know the band a little better. It might not be your cup of tea, so to speak, but they are still super important in rock lore.
This is my favorite of the Trilogy, the flow is just so awesome and the chorus is so smooth. I don’t get the hate for this...aggressive has its place, but so doesn’t the smooth stuff. That’s what Metallica has done so well, it’s a mix of stuff that allows you to always listen to them.
if I remember correctly, James hedfield, the lead singer was originally from Texas and some their 90s songs included some of that southern spice to them.
“You’re not going anywhere.” Vin’s 👀 Lol was perfect!! Great review! Still holding out for that Lateralus update. I know Sori has to be jonesing for some Tool 🎶
Take this key and I bury it in you - He gave her, himself, and the relationship a chance , he gave her the key to his heart, she betrayed him, and he left the key to his heart with her, locking his heart forevermore On the flip side, he left her with the key to his heart... leaving her with the sole (soul😜) way back into his heart
The twangy part you mentioned is done by a guitar using a "B bender"...which essentially a device which bends the B string when the player pulls the strap buttons on the guitar
One of Metallica's biggest influences is Glenn Danzig of the Misfits, Samhain, and his own band, Danzig. I would be very curious to see you guys and your reactions to Danzig songs like "Twist of Cain" and "Satan's Child."
8:04 "It's kinda like a country song" I don't kow what to say to this without sounding hateful. Maybe you could say it sounds like CURRENT country songs and that would make sense considering the artistic inspiration artist may take from it currently, but it sounds nothing like the country music of the time. I say this as someone who grew up country (Garth Brook, Reba, Brooks and Dunn, Vince Gill) loving rock in the closet so to speak. Enjoy it for the genre it is; heavy metal rock. It may be inspired by early rock/country, but it sounds nothing like country. That said, take my culture and run with it, take it as your own and spread it across the stars. Best believe I will do the same with yours. Because it is beautiful and has meaning and is relatable to everyone.
Just to add a little history to this song....James plays this on a fender b bender guitar. This is a guitar that I believe where the strap hooks to the guitar it can bend the b string when pushing down on the guitar. It is most often used in country music. James was playing around on one and it inspired him to write this melody. He then realized it sounded familiar and that he was ripping off the unforgiven 1. So he just went with it and made it a continuation. He was being influenced by different genres around this time including country. I appreciate the fact that they went out of their comfort zone and weren’t afraid to experiment and make music the fans wouldn’t expect because they were being influenced by other styles at this time. While I am bummed you guys didn’t enjoy this song as much as I do, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I really appreciate your honesty though and your in depth discussions when you react to songs.
There's so many good songs lyrically on Load and Reload that you guys would dig, I think. Bleeding Me, Outlaw Torn, Mama Said, Low Man's Lyric, Fixxxer just to name a few!
Interesting premise you have for this channel :) Some suggestions to react to : Draconian - The Morningstar Amon Amarth - The Hero Dissection - Where Dead Angels Lie Arch Enemy - Enemy Within Candlemass - The Edge of Heaven Metal Church - Watch The Children Pray Naglfar - I am Vengeance Type O Negative - Black Nr. 1 Thats a few to pick from anyway :)
Only you can answer that, unless you've written it down somewhere (or said it out loud, i've not watched all your reactions yet) :) I'd say open mindedness and honesty from the reactions i have seen :) Song suggestions are based on your previous reactions (its all heavy metal, though few are as "brutal" as Behemoth). I tried to pick songs based on what i like, but also on songs with clever / good / deep lyrics. oh, and a couple are just downright anti Christian (as in, satanic) just to see what you get out of that in your lyrics dissection phase :D
This song is amazing! And the analysis is just great, I love how this channel handles reactions. Could you guys react to either Clairvoyant Disease or I won't see you tonight ( pt 1 is the Bassist of the Band Suicide POV and Pt2 is the Singer's view of the act) both songs by Avenged Sevenfold . Keep on with the great great work !
So the Unforgiven songs are really less complex than they may seem to some. The speaker of the song can't forgive himself and he's wondering if his new found love has the same issue. This is about how pessimistic he is about love and life. The darkness, "no sun shining through", etc. mark that pessimism. He meets a woman that he wants to open up to (the door is locked now, but it's open if you're true), but his pessimism and past experience makes it hard for this to happen. Then there is the fear that this person will hurt him in the way that he has hurt people in the past (or are you unforgiven too). It gets dark and you can take it one of two ways, that I've heard of anyway. One being what you said, that he has damaged the woman emotionally. The other being literal death. The first Unforgiven song is about not being able to forgive the world/society. How the world/society beat a person down over time until their death.
Rolling stone magazine ranked all Metallica songs. (up to that time) This song was ranked last...one of my personal favs...2pac did it...soft as hell tunes..still epic artists and songs. MUSIC IS LIFE... "It is not the strongest of the species that survives nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one most adaptable to change" Charles Darwin...
Awesome stuff guys. Just found your channel yesterday & binge watched it a little bit, ha! Yous need to react to some Grunge music as well. May I suggest Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Mad Season, Temple of the Dog etc. Also some Audioslave & Rage Against the Machine would be great. 😊
Yup. this is from Metallicas country rock mix phase, which I'm not a fan of at all BUT I have came around to this song over the years and it's not bad but I don't like it anywhere near as much as I like the original. I much prefer the vibe of the original too, it has this sort of western/cowboy style to it, like something you'd hear from a wild west movie, while this song is more country influence which I'm not a fan of.
The song is about how he was true to her but when the door opened- no sunshine came thru.. so she wasn’t loyal back to him although she tricked him into believing she was - the pain causes him to kill her (weather really it symbolically) because he can’t forgive the betrayal. ..he harried the key to his heart inside of her and it’s gone with her.. and now he can finally see the sun because he sees that being alone is the only way that he won’t get hurt and plus nobody will be able to enter his heart again and commit an unforgivable betrayal again.
And it’s not shameful .. it’s creative. You the music law maker or something? Genre blends and whiskey suck? You’re shameful since you’ve never heard of abstract-symbolical lyrics being a thing.
Interesting. This is how i interpret it though "Lay beside me, under wicked sky The black of day, dark of night, we share this paralyze" He is asking her to join him in the "darkness" with the demons that haunt them. Every passing second they are consumed in this pain and suffering they both feel for their own as well as each other’s ordeals, " paralyzing" them in the process. "Lay beside me, this won't hurt, I swear" He's trying to convince her to help him confide his darkness in her and promises it won't affect her in any way, or hurt her in the process "She loves me not, she loves me still, but she'll never love again" As he's telling her all his secrets, he's unsure if she stills loves him the same, or if her love for him changes. "She lay beside me, but she'll be there when I'm gone Black hearts scarring darker steel, yes, she'll be there when I'm gone Yes, she'll be there when I'm gone" He's saying that he'll be able to be "forgiven" because of her, and he will no longer have to live in the "darkness" with his demons as he has found redemption at last. She, on the other hand, is still unforgiven and thus lies in the darkness with her demons alone. "Lay beside me, tell me what I've done The door is closed, so are your eyes" He asks her what she thinks of him now that she knows everything about his past (The door was open for her to enter and see into his memories of his past but now it's closed meaning she's returned from his past and he's finished confiding his ordeals to her). There is an "insight motif". Her eyes are closed now symbolising she has finished searching for answers of his past and knows everything now. "But now I see the sun, now I see the sun Yes, now I see it" He finally found redemption through her, because she accepts him for who he is and now he's is FORGIVEN. "I take this key And I bury it in you Because you're unforgiven too" Figuratively speaking the "key" to the door he's giving her symbolizes he's allowing her permanent access to his memories.
The trilogy is of a man shifting the blame, in the first its everyone elses fault for his misery. In this he tried to find someone of like mind but then accused here of being the same as everyone else... she is unforgiven too. In the third one its self realization, everyone is not the problem... he is. Love how deep you two go into the lyrics of all these multi-depth songs Shout out from Australia By the way🤟
Wow did not know this song was looked down among metal heads. I guess that's why I a fan of metal and not a metal head. It's my favorite among the trilogy. Still subbed though, I also might need that salon with some John Denver and Cash. :D
Guys this is real music created by some really really talented guys . People nowadays almost forget what real music used to be and that’s scary and sad at the same time
I love all three but that was not the case from first hearing them. I loved 1 as soon as I heard it for the first time. Then 2 came out and i liked it, then after a few more listens loved it, and a few more listens to the 3 before i took it in. I think 2 and 3 are very deep and poetic but they don't feel like it on the surface but the more times you listen and just feel what is going on, then the full effect of the feelings begin to show through. If that makes any sense.
Speaking as the biggest Metallica-fan in Sweden and existence, I know what this song is about. It's about the same thing as the previous Unforgiven-song was about, which was about the singer's parents and their religion. THey were believers in Christian Science (very ironic name) and they shielded his from the world and refused medical care if they got sick. They did not allow him to be taught science, more or less and all that, nor really hang out with friends. His mother died when he was very young in cancer, due to her refusal of medicine. Anyways, I'm talking too much. But this song continues this theme, but focuses more of the mother's death. I may be wrong on a few minor details, but this is what the true meaning of this song is about. Great reaction!
I feel like people really talk shit about Load and Reload. Sure, it’s not what you are used to, however, it is just such a good contrast to the fast paced thrash metal they usually play. I really, I mean, really like this song, the lyrics and instrumental match each other so well. It is such a well composed song
Unforgiven - i cant forgive the world Unforgiven II- i cant forgive you Unforgiven III - i cant forgive my self Also, something I have always found very interesting and "cool" about all the Unforgivens: usually, in most song, the chorus is the heavier portion, the verses lead up to the chorus, and the chorus is bigger and more powerful; with all the unforgivens, it is the opposite. The chorus is soft, and the verse is hard(er).
he found a girl and asked for her permission if he should open the next portal of thought or not (door of his own) by trying to make her understand what he feels about himself and for the others...one of my fav song of all times!
A thing to consider here is the Load & Re-Load albums were primarily experimental albums. This period in Metallicas career was in lay terms "a cluster fuck" because you had Jason Newsted who was starting to lean away from the thrash metal, there were personal relationships forming or ending, and they just hit the pinnacle of their career with the black album. Those two albums aren't for everyone, especially those who praise the sound of their legacy albums. And let's not get started on St.Anger...
There is a song out there by typo that makes you think the CD is skipping and then it lets you know that they were just fucking with ya....play that one....\m/ do not look down ...."become the essence of your goals!"
In addition, I think that most music videos take away from the music and interpretation. Although some videos are required... like 46&2 video with the psychological explanations in the background.
She betrays him and he kills her, ends up alone again, which is where he feels most comfortable ("and now I see the sun"). "And she'll be there when I'm gone" basically means that when he dies she'll still be there in heaven/he'll/wherever they may end up.
I never understood all the hate for the load or reload albums. There is a lot of great songs not to be overlooked because it's not the old stuff. I love unforgiven 2 just as much as the first. I'm a big Metallica fan and love all the album (sure st.Anger is my least favorite of them all) but nothing wrong with load reload, in my opinion. But great reaction videos guys. Been binge watching a bunch tonight. 🤘😎🤘
So I know how much you guys enjoyed her ghost in the fog and commented about how talented Dani Filth is in Poetic lyricism. I also recall how much you enjoyed the unforgiven and snuff. I think you should listen to Nymphetamine by Cradle of Filth. It's almost those two songs combined into one emotional rollercoaster. But you have to overdose! You can't just get a fix! (That'll make sense once you look up the song) I consider it to be one of the most impactful songs within the soundtrack of my own life, and I'd be interested to hear your take on it. Keep up the good work my fellow music whores

Unforgiven is Metallica ballads. Listen to Master of Puppets, Creeping Death, For Whom The Bell Tolls, Battery
In the Load and Reload albums Metallica was mixning blues, country and metal.
Yaaaaadsd!
I love load and reload
i would recommend God that Failed - Metallica and the "of Wolf and man" also by metallica if you want heavy. If you want something slow i would recommend "until it sleeps" and "turn the page" ( cover ) and "mama said".
Keep up with the good work

Great suggestions dude
I was watching your videos lately and was surprised/shocked how you reacted to this video. It is absolutely a great song.
I’d never heard the song before, I had to go with what I was feeling in the given moment. I’m a big Metallica fan, just not this song
Keep going guys. It's very pleasant watching your in depth discussion and view.
Waiting for Metallica - Master of puppets

Metallica made an actual country song, it’s called “Momma said” you should check it out
They also covered "Turn the Page" which had a similar type of feel as well as sharing a line with this song.
I like the metal in metallica, but I really like Momma Said, too. Who am I kidding. I like it all.
Ken Bald lol me too
They also cover Tuesdays gone which is country
Since you're doing sagas, I have one for you. Iron Maiden did a saga about a character called Charlotte. The songs are as follows (in order):
Charlotte the Harlot
22 Acacia Avenue
Hooks In You
From Here To Eternity
Yep I’m one of those people who subbed to you from hectic, I love how y’all break down the songs and discuss the topics
Very true !
Thank you !
Music is up for interpretation. I like that you interpret it
Thank you !
Oh, and if you want to hear some real thrash metal by Metallica: Fight Fire With Fire, Damage Inc, Blackened, Battery & Creeping Death

Metallica - Bleeding Me
Love your reactions and lyrics analisis.
Greetings from Spain.
Actually, Hectic Reacts is how I found you guys. Very cool guy. Subbed to both channels.
Nice! -Sori✌🏻
"Fixxxer" and "Where the Wild Things Are" are two more amazing songs from this album. Really underrated era of Metallica.
Please keep doing More METALLICA! They are what brought me to your channel and made me subscribe :)
As a Metallica fan, first time I heard this, I was like mind==blown lol. Was addicted to this song for so long
Second time I'm watching y'all videos, I'm now a fan. Subscribe!
if I remember correctly, James hedfield, the lead singer was originally from Texas and some their 90s songs included some of that southern spice to them.
No. Wrong
“You’re not going anywhere.” Vin’s 👀 Lol was perfect!! Great review! Still holding out for that Lateralus update. I know Sori has to be jonesing for some Tool 🎶
Yeesss I’m def jonesing for tool... I keep thinking about how the songs made me feel! -Sori🤟🏻
Take this key and I bury it in you -
He gave her, himself, and the relationship a chance , he gave her the key to his heart, she betrayed him, and he left the key to his heart with her, locking his heart forevermore
On the flip side, he left her with the key to his heart... leaving her with the sole (soul😜) way back into his heart
I found your videos today, you guys are awesome keep on rocking
Sori is awesome but so is Vib
Sorry Vin
The twangy part you mentioned is done by a guitar using a "B bender"...which essentially a device which bends the B string when the player pulls the strap buttons on the guitar
One of Metallica's biggest influences is Glenn Danzig of the Misfits, Samhain, and his own band, Danzig. I would be very curious to see you guys and your reactions to Danzig songs like "Twist of Cain" and "Satan's Child."
Just added it to the list -Sori🤘🏻
8:04 "It's kinda like a country song"
I don't kow what to say to this without sounding hateful.
I feel this is the darkest and saddest of the three Unforgivens...
Thanks so much !!! I am feeling very this song!!! Unforgiven! Lost family due to bad shit!! Can't sleep
This is a very hard song for me to listen to. Trauma comes up in blurs but the pain is clear. You guys helped with that a bit. Thanks
Much love !
Jordan Talks.. is a good guy and deserves some more subs guys.. spread the love
Metallica-and justice for all
Yup!
There's so many good songs lyrically on Load and Reload that you guys would dig, I think. Bleeding Me, Outlaw Torn, Mama Said, Low Man's Lyric, Fixxxer just to name a few!
Interesting premise you have for this channel :)
Some suggestions to react to :
Draconian - The Morningstar
Amon Amarth - The Hero
Dissection - Where Dead Angels Lie
Arch Enemy - Enemy Within
Candlemass - The Edge of Heaven
Metal Church - Watch The Children Pray
Naglfar - I am Vengeance
Type O Negative - Black Nr. 1
Thats a few to pick from anyway :)
And what would u say is our guiding principle? -Sori🤟🏻
Only you can answer that, unless you've written it down somewhere (or said it out loud, i've not watched all your reactions yet) :) I'd say open mindedness and honesty from the reactions i have seen :)
Song suggestions are based on your previous reactions (its all heavy metal, though few are as "brutal" as Behemoth). I tried to pick songs based on what i like, but also on songs with clever / good / deep lyrics.
oh, and a couple are just downright anti Christian (as in, satanic) just to see what you get out of that in your lyrics dissection phase :D
Hey guys, just a small fact but the beginning sound on both unforgiven songs is just the sound of a recorded trumpet played backwards.
Whoa! That’s legit I think someone else said that now that I think of it
Great video guys,keep it up
Aspect is everything. Definitely not a 2, but you're opinion is always valued. Still, I think you guys are great. Thanks for the review.
Seventh Wonder, "Star of David". Norwegian prog metal band. Singer is also currently in Kamelot.

The fact that they integrated a country twang was my favorite part.
It is the one most adaptable to change" Charles Darwin...
metal takes inflences from all genres and thats cool
Nice! -Sori🤟🏻

How could you not like this...
Yup. this is from Metallicas country rock mix phase, which I'm not a fan of at all BUT I have came around to this song over the years and it's not bad but I don't like it anywhere near as much as I like the original. I much prefer the vibe of the original too, it has this sort of western/cowboy style to it, like something you'd hear from a wild west movie, while this song is more country influence which I'm not a fan of.
This is my favourite unforgiven song... but 3 is starting to grow on me
Love this song!!
React to The Outlaw Torn, from Load. Great song IMO
Alex Hefner is another great reactor. But my man Hectic has been crushing it.
Love Alex. I'm a huge Hefnerd!
Been waiting for this 😃 love these 3 songs
I like 3 the best then 2 then 1.
Alice In Chains - Would? You’ll dig it, of this I’m sure! I’m very intrigued to hear y’all take it on! You guys rock!
Thanks-Sori🤟🏻
Opeth does a great cover of Would? Lol
Emptyself - The Postulate
This is how i interpret it though
"Lay beside me, under wicked sky
The black of day, dark of night, we share this paralyze"
He is asking her to join him in the "darkness" with the demons that haunt them. Every passing second they are consumed in this pain and suffering they both feel for their own as well as each other’s ordeals, " paralyzing" them in the process.
"Lay beside me, this won't hurt, I swear"
He's trying to convince her to help him confide his darkness in her and promises it won't affect her in any way, or hurt her in the process
"She loves me not, she loves me still, but she'll never love again"
As he's telling her all his secrets, he's unsure if she stills loves him the same, or if her love for him changes.
"She lay beside me, but she'll be there when I'm gone
Black hearts scarring darker steel, yes, she'll be there when I'm gone
Yes, she'll be there when I'm gone"
He's saying that he'll be able to be "forgiven" because of her, and he will no longer have to live in the "darkness" with his demons as he has found redemption at last. She, on the other hand, is still unforgiven and thus lies in the darkness with her demons alone.
"Lay beside me, tell me what I've done
The door is closed, so are your eyes"
He asks her what she thinks of him now that she knows everything about his past (The door was open for her to enter and see into his memories of his past but now it's closed meaning she's returned from his past and he's finished confiding his ordeals to her).
There is an "insight motif". Her eyes are closed now symbolising she has finished searching for answers of his past and knows everything now.
"But now I see the sun, now I see the sun
Yes, now I see it"
He finally found redemption through her, because she accepts him for who he is and now he's is FORGIVEN.
"I take this key
And I bury it in you
Because you're unforgiven too"
Figuratively speaking the "key" to the door he's giving her symbolizes he's allowing her permanent access to his memories.
The trilogy is of a man shifting the blame, in the first its everyone elses fault for his misery. In this he tried to find someone of like mind but then accused here of being the same as everyone else... she is unforgiven too.
In the third one its self realization, everyone is not the problem... he is.
Love how deep you two go into the lyrics of all these multi-depth songs
Shout out from Australia By the way🤟
I’m starting to see that ! Good call
Wow did not know this song was looked down among metal heads. I guess that's why I a fan of metal and not a metal head. It's my favorite among the trilogy. Still subbed though, I also might need that salon with some John Denver and Cash. :D
Guys this is real music created by some really really talented guys . People nowadays almost forget what real music used to be and that’s scary and sad at the same time
i really like it when metallica goes country. james is amazing writing country songs in my opinion.
You gotta rememeber, Jame's was struggling with alcohol and drug addiction. It comes through his lyrics in a lot of their songs.
Song certainly got y’all talkin personally I think that twang is the finest example of pure county on a ‘metal’ album the mood is heavy
I feel like people really talk shit about Load and Reload. Sure, it’s not what you are used to, however, it is just such a good contrast to the fast paced thrash metal they usually play. I really, I mean, really like this song, the lyrics and instrumental match each other so well. It is such a well composed song
I highly, HIGHLY recommend Sons of Winter and Stars by Wintersun-live rehearsal at Sonic Pump studios.
Your minds will be blown! :)
*Orphaned Land - All Is One*
Unforgiven - i cant forgive the world
Unforgiven II- i cant forgive you
Unforgiven III - i cant forgive my self
Also, something I have always found very interesting and "cool" about all the Unforgivens: usually, in most song, the chorus is the heavier portion, the verses lead up to the chorus, and the chorus is bigger and more powerful; with all the unforgivens, it is the opposite. The chorus is soft, and the verse is hard(er).
Iced Earth- Slave to the dark/A question of heaven attempt 3
he found a girl and asked for her permission if he should open the next portal of thought or not (door of his own) by trying to make her understand what he feels about himself and for the others...one of my fav song of all times!
This song is so dope
guys please react to "Where dead angels lie" by Dissection. It's a black metal song, but it's super amazing! You'll love it!!
Love it. You guys should check out Jinjer - Pisces. You gotta watch the music video to get the full scope of it :P
My man.... check our catalogue... you’re about a week late !
I just saw. I'm a dumbass. Thank ya, mate.
In addition, I think that most music videos take away from the music and interpretation. Although some videos are required... like 46&2 video with the psychological explanations in the background.
You should check out some of Metallica’s “St. Anger” album

She betrays him and he kills her, ends up alone again, which is where he feels most comfortable ("and now I see the sun"). "And she'll be there when I'm gone" basically means that when he dies she'll still be there in heaven/he'll/wherever they may end up.
Yes!
I'm into metal, and I love the song. Not all metal has to be hard.
My favourite song
you guys should react to eye of the beholder i think you're going to like it

Check out Metallica - Hate Train and Metallica - Hell and Back. Also, listen to any song from St. Anger.
