Like CCD camera a lot, they remind me of the simple life style every time when I use them, it’s like a family camera and you will never think of photo quality or whatsoever, moment is the main thing!
I paid £18 for this CCD (canon ixy), just look up on the G9 ( always impressed with canon’s camera design🤌🏻) it’s so expensive,CCd became very expensive now days 🥲

It is a fantastic camera. I just found one in a box to throw away at my work. - I can see that I will have to buy a charger, and then a trip will come out on the street with it... It is excellent contrast and tone. How much do you edit the photos after you take them? And what cool pictures you take, wow. Good work.

I edit my photo with a touch of yellow and green tone at colour wheel in light room :D

It's amazing - I watched the ZV-1F street photography videos (& subscribed) and now you're using the Canon Ixus 85!
I just recently took out our (old) Canon Ixus 95 IS and my daughter (18) loves it!
She took it on a trip to Berlin and took amazing photos.
The size was the big draw when we bought it new (a LONG time ago 🙂) and my wife & I used it for quick-snaps as it was always with us.

That’s a lovely story you have with this camera, passing the happiness from you and your wife and now to your daughter!🥹
When I first purchased this camera, I didn’t think I would love it so much until I realized it’s actually THE camera I bring along every time! The SIZE, compactness, and it’s the unique CCD style’s photos are what make it special! It has become a machine that has recorded my memories all along.
16 years later in 2024 people still enjoy using this camera!
