I'm quite familiar with these Eyetalian made machines. I was originally hired part time at a Harley dealer to repair these bikes. They had a few different sizes. I never did see a Baja 100 at the shop. My full time job at the time was as a Buick dealer mechanic. Anyway, these bikes suffered from the same problem as other Eyetalian motor vehicles of that period, bad electrics and wiring. I fixed many a burnt wiring harnesses on them and also Fiat/Alpha Romeo ( another story). Make sure you check the harness for chafing especially under the seat. Get some decent conduit to run the wires through under the tank and under the seat. Headlight wiring wasn't usually a problem. I decided to quit the Buick dealer and work full time on Harley Davidson motorcycles. I then began working on the bread and butter bikes Sportster, Electra Glides, knuckleheads and even a few panheads. Harley was still owned by AMF and before I moved on Willie G had acquired Harley and began it's uphill climb back to success and better bikes. I never, ever want to hear criticism of AMF, they kept Harley from disappearing in the 1970's and yes their quality had gone down but they were still alive long enough for better management to take back over.
