This time around I was thinking about saboteur but I think I will stick with psi-freak and gunplay. From the trailers I seen there may be alot of interesting powers to use. Psi powers as a main source of damage, gun as second and kung-fu powers that you get when you lvl up. Weapon customization looks interesting too.... shame you can't customize your powers in a similar fashion as you can do with magic in Tyranny(depending on the runes you can change how power works, if it's ranged, how big aoe it has and such).
I'm glad they didn't waste their dev time on adding in multiplayer and online, we have enough online co op games out there. It's nice to have a game that doesn't require online, someone else to play and is single player. Devs are actually making games that require co op or they can't be played which is a losing proposition in my opinion as they don't sell as well as co op games that give you an option.

From what I've seen you're probably better off designing your character for its appearance, think of character progress like dark souls you may choose a knight to start off with and get that equipment and stats but as you play and level you can build your stats in whatever direction you want and you can collect all passives and skills as well as equipment, so design a character you like the look of and build the stats to what you want as you play. Otherwise you might be looking at an ungodly butthole through the entire game 🤔 Saying that though I'm going for a Rex psy-freak with an agility and strength build unless it looks like ass 😂
I ended up putting 100 points into agility on dead-eye for a hard mode start because zooming around while avoiding most attacks and shooting down most enemies was really satisfying
Pick your class based on its bonus. No class is actually bound to any weapons. You can use what ever weapons you want with what ever class and you get to pick you point's as you level so you can literally be anything and still have access to every thing.

That’s exactly what I’m doing. Big Star Wars fan , so I’m creating a Force User “Psi abilities” with a lightsaber (dual wield). And I’m going to make my guy evil. Thought that would be an interesting first play through.
FYI, there is a video going over the classes, this one is better though 😁, and mentions the Mercenary class...basically like the Saboteur but with a different staring ability...however that ability is able to be gained later on...keep these videos coming!
Started as a stubby little deadeye with an adorable fuzzy tail and as I pumped points into strength I used the bio nucleus to make him slightly taller and more swole overtime without changing the shape of his face. He went from Rocket Raccoon to Nuclear Warhead Raccoon in 20 hours of gameplay and it brings joy to my heart. Also agility actually making your little furball run faster in god tier game design, my character IS the mount.
Made a Tanto Gigablade like Zabuza sword Found like Pri Murgel n a flaming rolling pin now about to take on the second world eater but I wish I could use the front lotus like rock lee on those huge monsters 😂
Attributes hardly change and by mid game ull be able to level each one properly and you can respec. Character is mainly just cosmetic. Pick based off what u wanna look like

commando murgel seems like the way for me... guns and better loot + barter for a starter, count me in edit: sentinel might be my second to go for that tanky melee type
There are no real "exclusive" things when it comes to breed and abilities -- you can go Primal and still play a PSI-Freak, for example, it's just not an optimized build is all. If you're playing just for the sake of min-maxing then yeah that's important but some people like to be a bit more creative and do roleplay. I'm considering a Primal PSI-Freak as my first playthrough for example, though I may also run Rex for that. I'm waiting to learn more before I settle on that though. I don't care for the Fip so far because it just looks goofy, though maybe that's just the particular build.
Kazey I found a little glitche or hidden secret ( character creation starting off with elemental weapon with mercenary ) have to pick mercenary like 300 times back and forth with dead eye and the weapon will have the element power whatever your resistance with 3% and up it will work poison and ice for sure havent tried fire and electricity yet( yeah i was in character creation for about several hours
I am getting my copy delivered Tuesday.. I did preorder it so I’m probably going with that dlc class.. still unsure what race works best yet, can’t wait for ur update video!
commando in my opinion is the most balanced melee gun class , because of the bonus 20% dmg armor boost and 10% attack speed.. for when your like me and like to not heal all the time, i let adrenalin heal me
I gonna go with a battle mage. I'm gonna pick Rex, allocate all points to strength, then pick Psi-Freak. And just dump most my level up points to intelligence. My enemies will feel my fists of elemental fury!

youve got dead eye and commando mixed up, dead eye is a pure ranged build, all its perks are about damage and dps with guns, not a single perk has anything to do with melee, and commando is the hybrid for guns melee commando perks include low health gun damage and low healrh melee speed

@@pankrazyo no commando isnt better ranged wise, yes hes better for shotguns because of the stun (which isnt even that good) and automatic rifles because deadeyes perks dont work on them, but other then that dead-eye is the best for any other kind of gun, getting 10% bonus damage for guns, double damage for 2-handed guns, higher fire-rate and reload speed for dual-pistols, and starting with instant reload is far better then commando who has 10% gun damage 10% gun crit damage, 5% chance to stun with shotguns, and some useless low-health buffs (useless because its too risky for the benefit they give however they could be useful in a ranged/melee hybrid build)

I don't get it. He said fip for more of a pure psy and a Rex for a hybrid. But the only difference in the Stat bars I saw was the vitality. What makes fip pure and Rex the hybrid? Am I just blind?
Only if you want the gear for it early. You can unlock all of the preorder class stuff in game. The preorder class just has some gear that you dont get until later.
I always tell myself I’m going to play the rouge/ranger class but then I pick the magic one because lightning is cool

Mercynary is fully covered by now and will by far be the best melee class ingame due to his passives

Bonus: you can get some pretty hilarious slow-time kill shots with the bow in Skyrim.
Cant decide between a Master Splinter type of build, or an Eldritch Knight built on the Mercenary class.

You actually are kind of locked into your beginning decision because of the class perks that you cant change or have access to with other classes.

I was thinking of a Sentinel-Rex, but after seeing this analysis, not too sure of that.
Hyla seems the more ideal breed for a Sentinel class for sure.

It will offer early boosts, but very little that can't be replicated with other characters.
