D'Sparil is the second most powerful Serpent Rider, even more than Korax, I already imagined he could beat the Heresiarch
Yes, it's very funny. Korax said that D'Sparil was the weakest of them, but in a real battle he lost to the one who lost to D'Sparil
@@DeVoR-ONEI’m guessing it’s the fact that D’Sparil always starts off with his dragon looking pet at the start of a battle, it’s essentially two creatures against one in that regard and when D’Soaril reemerges he is back to full health unlike the Korax.
Unless you did a video that pitted D’Sparil against Korax without using that dragon and still won? I’m open to being incorrect.
Since D'Sparil has 2 phases and Heresiarch has second coming, it would be fair to give the latter a respawn. Cuz now it both phases for one boss and only single of two appearances of another.
I would love remakes of Heretic, Hexen, and Hexen 2. I'd make all 3 more RPG like with even looting and inventory

Fellas trying to decide who is the cheapest boss. Btw is D'Sparil second phase invulnerable, how is that he doesn't take any damage?
I don't know, maybe this is a bug.
In the vanilla game, (this mod doesn't carry over the stats from the base games) neither form should ever take damage from the heresiarch's attacks, as they all only deal splash damage, to which both of D'Sparil's forms are immune. The only way D'Sparil can take damage is if his own projectiles are deflected back at him. Maybe this mod only had the second phase immune to splash?
@@doomstuff1 It's entirely possible, but I haven't looked into this mod in detail. This mod also added immunity to certain elements to some DOOM monsters.
@DeVoR-ONE I've never had this mod, so this is just a total shot in the dark. I do remember a video that was maulotaur vs cyberdemon in this where the outcome was heavily influenced by the mod's changes (cyber rockets only did 20-40 damage instead of the normal 20-160, allowing the maulotaur to win. In the real games, the cyber should win with about 1/2-3/4 health left).
@@DeVoR-ONE That's actually the vanilla game, not the mod. There are a handful of boss monsters that are invulnerable to splash damage in all of the og doom engine games.

Это не из Doom. D'Sparil (на ящерице) из Heretic. Heresiarch из Hexen. Движок тот же, но история другая.
man i can deal with Heresiarch on the titan/pope/warlock difficulty anyday, but dsparil its a pain for me in the black plague posess thi mode because it play like a coward summoner, spawn the shit of disciples and teleports like no tomorrow hahaha
Those 10+ poor wizards constantly regenerating and disintegrating.
Also: why isn’t D’sparil taking any damage, even with direct hits?
Most likely, the logic breaks down due to the transformation when he loses his “horse”.

@@blesseddrones9852 plus second phase has more HP than first one, and HP bar only displays up to the max HP of the first one.

D'sparil just took no damage in his second phase? Isn't that a bug,?
Perhaps his health is not displayed correctly.
As mentioned, it's a UI bug. D'Sparil dismounted has more health than his mounted version, so it doesn't show up right in the HUD.
