If only it weren't so expensive! Everyone should be able to do this.

The value of a liberal arts education in today's society is immeasurable, especially when planning for the future.

The overwhelming speed of twitter is beyond me. A true reflection cannot be summarized in 144 characters or less. I am so grateful for my time at St. John's. It certainly provided that leisure he refers to and prepared me to question.

Mike is right. The liberal education at St Johns is a brilliant model that gives us thinking and thoughtful citizens. Whatever vocation a person chooses, there will be issues to be confronted,. Issues of ethics or issues of corporate citizenship or issues of statesmanship. How much better to face those issues with a background of knowledge and a practice of questioning analysis. Wood shop is a fine course to take but it won't help you analyze whether or not the project should be built.

I think it began when man first started to communicate with words.
