Tunisia holds the historic city of Carthage beacon of freedom and democracy and first pillar of the western civilization, so you cannot compare in civilization. You can only compare them from what both present of leisure in perspective.
The cultures are completely different. The civilizations are diffrent. I am Morrocan and I do not feel having things in common with Tunisian people to be fair.
you should try saffron tea in Taliouine Morocco's Capital of Saffron .Morocco is by far better , you can also ski in Morocco which you cannot in Tunisia, Morocco has two sea the Mediterranean and the Atlantic , some of the best beaches in the world , you can surf or kitesurf in Morocco , you can't in Tunisia ...heck Morocco has even better dunes than Tunisia ....and let's not even talk about history as Morocco was practically the center of the Maghreb and Tunisia merely a province ruled from either Marrakech or Fez in Morocco ...I have nothing against Tunisia but Morocco is by fat better
You can ski in Morocco but is it the destination for ? I dont think so . We can’t surf in Tunisia but you can practically kite-surf anywhere in the world where there’s water and wind . The Atlantic coast might be nice but the swimming quality is nothing to compare to the Mediterranean and it’s a well known fact .both countries have beautiful beaches but none have the best in the word as that is a subjective opinion . @@The-atlantis-report with all my respect for my Moroccan brothers and sisters and even I'm supposed to not answer such silly comments but just to stop spreading bullshits especially when you mentioned history as almost all the capitals of previous civilizations and dynasties were in Tunisia from Gafsa, Utica, Carthage, till Kairouan, Mahdia, Tunis. So after going to ski it's better to have some education as well.
I understand that this is a subjective opinion, which country you prefer. But giving Tunisia lesser points, because some people don‘t speak your language (they all speak French by the way) and because you got sick, even though you don‘t know the exact reason why, seems a bit unfair… also I think you will probably have to travel to more than 4-5 cities in order to get a real picture of the whole country an make comparisons with Morocco where you traveled a whole lot more.
Hey Yad, I really enjoyed your video! As a Tunisian, I wanted to share a little insight about the food situation you experienced. I'm pretty sure your reaction was because you were trying harissa for the first time. Here in Tunisia, we cook almost everything with harissa-couscous included! There's definitely more to discover in Tunisia, and I highly recommend visiting the southern region with its stunning deserts, as well as Djerba Island, which is known for its beautiful beaches and rich religious diversity heritage. Unfortunately, our country hasn't invested as much in tourism as Morocco, largely due to political challenges and safety priorities. That said, there's so much more to explore! The snowy west side of Tunisia is pure nature and rich in culture, offering a completely different vibe. You're always welcome here, and I can't wait to see more of your videos featuring Tunisia.
Thank you so much for sharing the kind words and watching the videos. I look forward to exploring the mentioned places on our next trip. Regarding the harissa that’s really interesting to hear what makes it so strong that it makes people sick?
@@YadVenturess just wanted to say that the strong pepper and spicy flavors can sometimes upset your stomach, especially if you’re not used to eating spicy food. That, or maybe you ate something bad. My advice is to check online for restaurant ratings before you go, and as a general rule, eat at places that are busy and full of people-that’s usually a good sign! Enjoy
*The beauty of countries doesn't depends on its area for example there are many small countries in the world that more beautiful and more amazing than many big countries*
You got sick from the spices and Harissa. You're not used to it . Not because of food safety or hygiene! You mentioned that there are limited options of fruits in the supermarket, we Tunisians eat every fruit in its season it's better and testier. Speaking of the variety of food, sadly you didn't visit lots of cities to enjoy the succulent dishes of Tunisian cuisine. Regarding the landscapes and nature , as i mentioned above you didn't see much of Tunisia. We have it all mountains ( Ain drahem, jendouba), astonishing beaches (especially in kelibia and Bizerte) and the Sahara desert (tozeur and guebili), islands ( dejerba). If you have the chance to go back i highly recommend that you visit more cities and explore Tunisia more. I guarantee you'll enjoy!
Morocco has become a top-tier tourist destination, and it cannot be compared to a country like Tunisia. Morocco holds a prestigious and exceptional status, while Tunisia struggles with issues related to terrorism and decline.
I was going to visit Israel recently, but I've decided to go to Morocco instead as I've heard they are the same country and they have a lot in common ❤
We ve got hundreds and hundreds of 5 star resorts not even found in bigger countries it's not the size that matters. We don't need your crappy opinion about us ignorant barbar. And all your hotels are owned by foreigners while ours are either owned by the government or owned by national local entrepreneurs and experienced business people. We ve also got a fair share of international resorts such as 4 seasons and Anantara and much more We ve got bernard you ve got barbar rot
A good video, but it seems the visit to Tunisia wasn’t extensive enough. To truly understand the nature of Tunisia, one should visit at least 4-5 different regions. For example, Tozeur (desert), Tabarka or Bizerte (lush greenery), Kairouan, or Djerba (civilizations and history), etc. Additionally, exploring diverse areas allows you to learn more about the local cuisine, customs, and traditions. Visiting different governorates is essential for forming a comprehensive judgment about the country.

@shk0191 Historically, you can't compare Tunisia to Morocco. Tunisia clearly wins the debate and competition by a landslide. From Capsian civilisation, to mighty Carthage and Hannibal, to Nomidia, to Roman Ifriqiya (entire continent named after it), Kaiarawan 4th holiest city in Islam, Cairo and Azhar university was built by Tunisians, university of al Karaouine in Fez morocco was established by Fatima il Fihri a Tunisian woman, Zitouna oldest university and the list goes on and on
Tunisia’s Carthage is a lie fabricated by Bourguiba and perpetuated by Ben Ali to give a small country a sense of importance and make up for its weakness and feeling of inferiority.
Hello, thank you for this video, which I really appreciated as a Tunisian. However, I’d like to correct a few points, as many people might rely on this information. Regarding nature, it’s unfair to compare the beautiful Moroccan regions (Agadir, Fès, and Marrakech, which I also deeply admire) with a single city like Tunis, which is overcrowded and doesn’t reflect Tunisia’s rich diversity. Tunisia offers remarkable natural wealth, from the vast Sahara (Tozeur, Douz) to stunning mountains and beaches (Tabarka, Mahdia, Bizerte, Kelibia), as well as unique destinations like Korbous and Djerba-each region with its own charm. Moreover, Tunisian cuisine is incredibly diverse, but since you only visited one region, you couldn’t fully experience its variety. Claiming that Tunisian cuisine isn’t diverse is FALSE information.

Small correction : The desert you guys ate in Tunis is called "Bouza" (pronounced Booza). I just made it tonight haha. It's hazelnut that you brown in the oven, then you mix and then cook slowly in milk and flour to give it consistency, add sugar to taste, or condensed milk. For the couscous, the difference between Tunisian, Algerian and morrocan couscous is that Tunisian mix the broth/sauce of the couscous before it is served. Also Tunisian couscous sauce has tomato, which gives it that reddish color.

Nice Video Yad ❤I've been following you since you arrived in Tunisia and I truly appreciate the effort and thought you’ve put into sharing your perspective👏. But I think you should make the comparison after visiting other tourist cities in Tunisia, rather than limiting your experience to Tunis, the capital. This would provide a more balanced perspective when comparing it to Moroccan cities like Tangier, Fes, and Marrakech. Tunisia has a rich and diverse culture, with cities like Sousse, Djerba, and Kairouan.I highly recommend visiting Tabarka, especially in this cold weather
When you say that Morocco surface area is 446 000 km2, this is an offense to 40 Million Moroccans. In addition to Morocco area, you said that Morocco culinary diversity is due to the number of tourists, etc...The main reason that explain Morocco culinary diversity is the significant contribution of the Maures ( Arabs and Jewish that were in Andalousia,..)
Maures are unrelated to Arabs, they were ancient Berber tribes who decided to build cities and Establish a Kingdom called Mauritania or Maurian Land in ancient times, their history is undocumented, it's not known when their kingdom was Established but the first time they were mentioned it was by the Greeks in 300 bc, the greeks mentioned there was a kingdom in Morocco and it's Capital City was Volubilis(Walili), and they Mentioned other cities like Tingis(Tangier), and that was confirmed when Romans reached North Africa and interacted with its people, they documented the Maurian kings that lived at their time and also some Maurians learned Latin told Roman historians who documented some of the old knowledge about the Maurian kingdom and people that were still in circulation among the Maurs at that time, like the names of some previous kings and their life in old Roman Latin.

Thanks for being fair! You have tremendous experience and know to differentiate and appreciate. You did, however, overlook a major factor, the transportation system, which is light years more developed in Morocco. Keep up the good work!
I like the video despite the mistake concerning the surface area of Moroccoo, excluding its Sahara, I hope that your next visit will be to this southern region of the country .Tunisia and Morocco are two brother countries. The Tunisian people are super cool
If you visit the northwest of Tunisia, specifically Tabarka and Ain Darham, you will definitely change your opinion about nature and you will give the point to Tunisia. There you will find mountains, forests and the sea in the same place.
I feel you were really gracious with the 3 points in tunisia, and having wstched your Morocco videos (including the policeman misunderstanding your filming in Rabat and following you to ask questions while you have total right to film!) I know you still have major parts of the country to see - just as an example the many Moorish, Roman ruins and fortresses, there are for example 2 major Roman entire cities to visit! You also missed most the Atlas which is basically 30% at least of the country, you can for example go skiing/snowboarding in multiple stations (2 are the biggest but there are smaller others) and the insane trail/hiking/climbing m/mountain-biking/downhilling and paragliding trails in the mountains -> these are just two examples!!
Do not compare my country Morocco with any other country, we have our own history. Our kingdom has a history and is ancien Compare your country, brother. When you were here in Morocco, you were praising Morocco, and now you are hinting that Morocco is not good. From the expressions on your face, we understand what is going on in your mind.
I'm aware that you are a big fan of Morocco, and as Moroccan, I appreciate all the positive comments about Morocco. However, I'd like to bring this extremely sensitive issue to your attention. The Morocco surface or size is 710 000 km2, not 440000, as you mentioned in your video. By stating that Morocco size is only 440k km2, it means that you do not recognize Moroccan Sahara as Moroccan territory, and that is very offensive to the Moroccan people. I'm sure that was just an oversight from your part. Hence, I'm bringing it to your attention. Thanks
You visited 3 neighbouring cities in Tunisia but you judge the full country. But you visited most of Morocco. You were not fair to be honest. Talking about food variety, you just mentioned 2 or 3 dishes, and ignored the rich cuisine from all parts of Tunisia. You were a victim of mass marketing that Morocco makes to its tourism. Next time hire a local guide if you want to make review or compare a country to another.
I watched your videos in Tunisia and I've appreciated them a lot as I enjoyed seeing Tunisia from your perspective and takin a look on your experience. So the videos were really great but they were mainly about Tunis not Tunisia as far as I konw except for the small village of takrouna and Hammamet That means that you visited Tunis and some places very close to Tunis and I think you missed a lot of what Tunisia really has to offer in terms of diversity, culture, food, nature,... You said it's smaller than Morroco in size which is accurate and also compared with the other north African countries but don't forget that it's just a relative comparaison since it's bigger that most European countries (Greece, England,..) and almost 2 times the size of Portugal and I think that its relative "small" size with the diversity it has naturally from mountains and snow till the sahara along with the diversity in terms of architecture, food,.. is actually a comparative advantage as you can see a lot in a relatively small area and spend less time on transportation (if we like divide diversity on area I think Tunsia will have one of the highest scores). Nevertheless, I really appreciated again your videos and I wish all the best for you and your family, for our morrocan brothers and sisters and for our neighbor countries, as apart of the uniqueness of each country, we share a lot of culture, blood and history and hope we'll share a much brighter future.❤ Hope you'll come back to visit Tunisia as well and not just Tunis and hammamet. I'm from Bizerte for example, the northmost city in Africa and I think it has a lot to offer in terms of nature, culture and food which you can't find in Tunis and that's also the case for all tunsian cities and regions.

Tunisia is geographically in the center of North Africa . Those border are Post Independence you can be proud of the history of both countries as it’s in fact one history and one culture .

Great video. Both Morocco and Tunisia are nice countries.
Thank you 🙏 Absolutely both are beautiful
I understand that this is a subjective opinion, which country you prefer. But giving Tunisia lesser points, because some people don‘t speak your language (they all speak French by the way) and because you got sick, even though you don‘t know the exact reason why, seems a bit unfair… also I think you will probably have to travel to more than 4-5 cities in order to get a real picture of the whole country an make comparisons with Morocco where you traveled a whole lot more.

That’s the whole point of a subjective opinion, I’m sharing my personal experience nothing personal to the country 🙏
Enjoy

I’m Moroccan and would love to try your cuisine! I can’t get enough of the Tunisian harissa but haven’t tried other things yet!

If you visit the northwest of Tunisia, specifically Tabarka and Ain Darham, you will definitely change your opinion about nature and you will give the point to Tunisia. There you will find mountains, forests and the sea in the same place.
You just can’t compare Morocco and Tunisia in term of mountains.. no comparison

Hannibal 🇹🇳 🔥
I watched your videos in Tunisia and I've appreciated them a lot as I enjoyed seeing Tunisia from your perspective and takin a look on your experience. So the videos were really great but they were mainly about Tunis not Tunisia as far as I konw except for the small village of takrouna and Hammamet
That means that you visited Tunis and some places very close to Tunis and I think you missed a lot of what Tunisia really has to offer in terms of diversity, culture, food, nature,...
Nevertheless, I really appreciated again your videos and I wish all the best for you and your family, for our morrocan brothers and sisters and for our neighbor countries, as apart of the uniqueness of each country, we share a lot of culture, blood and history and hope we'll share a much brighter future.❤
Hope you'll come back to visit Tunisia as well and not just Tunis and hammamet.
I'm from Bizerte for example, the northmost city in Africa and I think it has a lot to offer in terms of nature, culture and food which you can't find in Tunis and that's also the case for all tunsian cities and regions.
