I used to pick garbage in Long Island N.Y. 4 Monty Brothers and then moved to Illinois where I worked for Waste Management and then 2 Florida and did the same thing I since retired from picking garbage and truck driving and I'm now retired but I was very fast picker in my day & I loved it every minute of it
Love this. I really miss being a loader. But as a trucker I make way more but I would love to jump on a truck for a day to get my throwing itch away lol
Man, these videos are just absolutely fantastic! Love the POV action in the first clip, with that amazing engine sound from that truck! I'm a huge fan of garbage trucks, and I follow them through my neighborhood as they do my routes (all rear loaders), so this is right up my alley! Now, some questions about the truck. What year, make and model of truck, engine and transmission, body, and capacity of body are you running? Please keep the POV videos coming, but definitely add in driving footage as well, I love hearing these trucks running up and down through the gears, getting up to speed, all that good stuff! And, if possible, just engine sounds during the drives. Please let me know ASAP, and looking forward to more unedited POV action! You've earned yourself a new sub from me!

i think its wild you guys work both sides of the street at the same time. you must get some angry drivers behind you. here in canada we have one person on the back and one driving and we switch every 45min to an hour. i feel like we work twice as fast as what im seeing here but we're only doing one side of the street at a time

I guarantee you that like 70% of all the so-called "trash" people produce every single day around the world could have been recycled, composted, or donated. People throw away too much plastic, cardboard, aluminum, clothing, food scraps, as "garbage" because we are too lazy to properly dispose of it. If you _really_ did those 3 things more often, u would be amazed at how _little_ ACTUAL trash u _truly_ produce on a daily basis. this is not an opinion. it is a _fact_ , whether or not u disagree u are amazed, because people are too lazy/apathetic to reduce their waste. i live in a household of 4. 3 months ago i decided to try something, and introduced separate bins for different types of waste. at the end, after some sorting, i filled up a mere 2 (small) garbage bags of actual garbage that could NOT be recycled, composted, or donated. things like tampons, condoms, used cooking oil, cling wrap, plastic lined paper like protective seals, paper binded wires to keep vegetables together that u see at the grocery store, cleaning wipes, rubber/latex gloves, rubber bands, rusted paper clips, laundry sheets, dirty/damaged clothing/shoes that could not be salvaged, tea bags, tissues with dangerous chemicals, etc. society needs to do better.

Make sure u aren’t grabbing by the lid of boxes and shit could cause arthritis overtime cause it puts stress on your tendon in your wrist.

We have about 4-6 cans each week. Rural area, no recycle available so that adds some.
