They have real real sad childhoods and personality disorders, depression etc. and because they cannot admit or heal from these things they want you to internalize them by becoming sad and broken like them because it covers their pain and makes them feel powerful. See, people they loved hurt them in the past, they are still scared of those people so if they hurt you they feel accomplished in your pain so if you internalize them and get abused you will be subserviant and sad or fight back . absolutely I loved my husband and forgave him 1000 times because I knew his child hood but once I found his fone when he left I knew my 28yrs with him was a complete lie I actually feel sorry for him he lost me who truly loved him and his adult sons who wants nothing to deal with him and they were angry with me for staying with him this long

One thing I learned about a narcissist is that they have no limits to how low they will go. The limbo bar is touching the floor and they’ll find a way to go under it. They are ridiculous and pathetic. They have no morals or any spec of respect or the meaning of it.

You are so right. My narcissist husband paid some crack head to try to run ME over with a car on the sidewalk. Thank God I paid attention to my surroundings and jumped out of the way. I knew it was coming from my husband and his side horse. When I packed up and moved out of state, he underestimated me. It's been 4 months now but baby I'm still looking over my shoulder. He hated me because when I retired, I bought a house and a truck. He constantly argued over it, but if I didn't purchase those things I just might be dead. God saved me.
That’s a good point you brought out- the narc delights in trying to manipulate you in what you do with your possessions. It is your decision what you do with your own money and things but they feel powerful when they can get you to do what THEY want you to do with your own stuff, and to top it off they will keep finagling your decisions until they end up benefiting them. I use to wonder how he could be one way with me and another way with his friends and family! He always belittled me to them but treated me like a queen to my face! Long story short... he does have hate in his heart for me bcuz he did a sinister act against me, but he could NEVER BREAK ME!!!!

Deep! There is accountability that’s needed on our end. We are not victims. We decided to stay through these narcs trash and getting dragged. I realized that when he said "I love you" it just meant he needed to hear me say I loved him. It had nothing to do with him loving me, he just needed to know I loved him.

The ex idiot I was with told me I knew I was going to hate you I just didn’t know it would be this soon . 19 months together and hundreds of fights . He would look at me and say he hated me his rage pulling his fist back , head butted me . The verbal abuse , sleeping on the couch , withholding sex , the silent treatment . I left almost 17 months ago . He went to work I left and changed my number later bitch 😄😄😄😄😄So much happier now . Yes it was hard in the beginning but I got through and love me and my life . I literally have chills listening to this. It's like you had a window into the relationship I had with my daughter's father, a narcissist. He hates me. I see it in his eyes and he can not even hide it anymore. I have to say, it had been 2 years of no contact and I had forgotten how he was because I stayed so far away. During covid quarantine he hoovered me and I fell for it...and you are so right. I believe he tried to take me out. He was given another chance to get real close to his target. I consider myself very blessed to have made it out of this last one alive and now..I'm good. I know all there is to know and I know the hatred that you speak of is real. We think people are nice like us...Well, we find out how ugly someone can be. I am no contact or low-contact if I absolutely have to because of our daughter. That's it!!!! Wow my daughters father too. I just recently had enough after seeing that evil glare in his eyes. I can’t believe I dealt with him. How do you co parent as that has been most difficult ?? I was dragged into a court battle which he lost and the judge recently threw out another petition bc he deemed my daughters father to be malicious and charged him with frivolous claims ... it’s so embarrassing. No one would believe the things he did bc it’s unbelievable until I started recording him .
The narcissist I was with for 6 months told me it was nothing wrong with him. I also told him he didn't love himself he stated he does. Sometimes I thought he was intimidated by me as well because he would say crazy things to me. He would always say you just want attention I'm like what? No you have a problem with me getting attention. Then he even told me in the beginning of our relationship he wanted me to stop dealing with my male friends. I told him hell no until you get rid of your broads you're dealing with.
When I finally realized that, everything made sense. I never realized how could someone do these things if I was truly loved by this person. The truth haunted me and gave me nightmares. I never thought anyone could be so evil. All of that makes sense.
My narc cut me off when my parents had just split up after 35 years and I had just been put on unpaid leave at the start of the pandemic. He blocked me out of the blue when I had done nothing to him. I knew he was a narc when he told me “never ignore me” and screamed “do you know who I am?” to another driver in a bout of road rage. Luckily for me, I didn’t ever react to him and never tried to reach out to him. Got put back on full pay two months later and I’m still on track to buy my first property next year. The best revenge is ignoring them forever and thriving without them. They will just go through their lives hurting others and feeling no remorse for it. Stay far away from them!

You are like a good friend or big brother watching out for us and we are so grateful. You remind us that we need to stay away from these people. I've had people abandon me for years some even 20 years and they need something or lose someone they're there. They butter you up and then they're bad behavior comes back. With some it's so awkward because once you visit or even see at a hospital they will be silent in-between, act important, smart or some are quiet and act confused and don't validate you while your explaining yourself more and more. They keep you on Facebook after that liking your posts then post stuff or quotes to hurt you or unfriend you and the lists go on and on. They have to be above you, get others to reject you, hate if your get attention and so on. Nothing helps. As a Christian you try to please your church and God to not abandon them and welcome them. Your Christian ways, your love, constant forgiveness, acceptance, compassion, kindness. Nothing is never enough. So regardless of your Christianity you realize you've got to distance yourself and love them from afar. Your so right that their evil. I've grown strong and aware that they can't control me anymore. Some hate it. They call you back to when you don't. Again they start asking you to help, stay or travel far so they don't go alone, love your advise and kindness and on and on. It's hard but you have to stand your ground or they'll suck you in again. I stay away from them now and am so careful not to get involved. I don't get in their cars at all. Especially in bad weather. They call me too fearful but I say that's fine, I know what I'm doing. I've been scared enough and almost wrecked as they drove. Watching a you tube video where a young guy drove up to 90 mph while his friend said slow down and killed them woke me up all the more. Im avoiding staying and caregiving someone who use to abuse me when I was heavily laboring, giving and kind. I broke down, had physical ailments and was exhausted physically, mentally and emotionally where I had to go stay at shelters or such. I cried leaving them but it was never enough. We talk so we'll by telephone but once I stay it's ok for one or two days and after that it's like jeckyl and hyde. You made me realize they want us like them so they can look better. Many narcissists are poor, it's not a mental disorder exclusive to the rich. Try to find out what your therapist really thinks about you and start by reading your reports under the freedom of information laws. That will help you greatly.
@@keplermission4947 You misread, I went to therapy and told my therapist about my mom. My mom refused to go to therapy. And no, you really need to educate yourself. My therapist complemented me about my self awareness, and I'd rather trust her than someone like you who doesn't know anything about covert narcissism. Narcissists CAN live in misery. The fact that you don't know this shows that you are uneducated about the topic and have narcissistic traits you aren't aware of. Maybe you should go to therapy? It’s been a year and some months since I been in contact with the narc. I knew he hated me when he embarrassed me with the girl he left me for. I knew he hated me in that very moment.
Mine went back to his girlfriend he dated for 11yrs. And when I told her you know what you're dealing with and he is not going to change. She was real quite when I told her. I found out as well that he laid hands on her. I'm not going to deal with any man that raises their hands on me.

You are so right. My narcissist husband paid some crack head to try to run ME over with a car on the sidewalk. Thank God I paid attention to my surroundings and jumped out of the way. I knew it was coming from my husband and his side horse. When I packed up and moved out of state, he underestimated me. It's been 4 months now but baby I'm still looking over my shoulder. He hated me because when I retired, I bought a house and a truck. He constantly argued over it, but if I didn't purchase those things I just might be dead. God saved me.

Sometimes I thought he was intimidated by me as well because he would say crazy things to me. He would always say you just want attention I'm like what? My narc cut me off when my parents had just split up after 35 years and I had just been put on unpaid leave at the start of the pandemic. He blocked me out of the blue when I had done nothing to him. I knew he was a narc when he told me “never ignore me” and screamed “do you know who I am?” to another driver in a bout of road rage.
Luckily for me, I didn’t ever react to him and never tried to reach out to him. Got put back on full pay two months later and I’m still on track to buy my first property next year. The best revenge is ignoring them forever and thriving without them. They will just go through their lives hurting others and feeling no remorse for it. Stay far away from them!

I've had people abandon me for years some even 20 years and they need something or lose someone they're there. They butter you up and then they're bad behavior comes back. With some it's so awkward because once you visit or even see at a hospital they will be silent in-between, act important, smart or some are quiet and act confused and don't validate you while your explaining yourself more and more. They keep you on Facebook after that liking your posts then post stuff or quotes to hurt you or unfriend you and the lists go on and on. They have to be above you, get others to reject you, hate if your get attention and so on.
Nothing helps. As a Christian you try to please your church and God to not abandon them and welcome them. Your Christian ways, your love, constant forgiveness, acceptance, compassion, kindness. Nothing is never enough. So regardless of your Christianity you realize you've got to distance yourself and love them from afar.

Again they start asking you to help, stay or travel far so they don't go alone, love your advise and kindness and on and on. It's hard but you have to stand your ground or they'll suck you in again.
I stay away from them now and am so careful not to get involved.
I don't get in their cars at all. Especially in bad weather. They call me too fearful but I say that's fine, I know what I'm doing. I've been scared enough and almost wrecked as they drove.
Watching a you tube video where a young guy drove up to 90 mph while his friend said slow down and killed them woke me up all the more.
Im avoiding staying and caregiving someone who use to abuse me when I was heavily laboring, giving and kind. I broke down, had physical ailments and was exhausted physically, mentally and emotionally where I had to go stay at shelters or such. I cried leaving them but it was never enough. We talk so we'll by telephone but once I stay it's ok for one or two days and after that it's like jeckyl and hyde.
You made me realize they want us like them so they can look better.

LOL same! I got out, and over a year later found out that she somehow got worse. It turns out that the reason why she didn't crash sooner was because I kept her afloat. Now she lives in a cockroach infested apartment, everything around her is falling apart, and no one wants to speak to her. And then she had the audacity to guilt trip me to send her money... Nah, you said I was only pulling you back so you obviously don't need me.

My mother owns a three storey villa and an apartment in the capital city of my home country. Yet she still lives in misery AND ruined the lives of everyone who tried to help her. You don't know my story and before accusing others, learn some self awareness and see that you have a lot of narcissistic traits you need to address.
Not every narcissist is successful. Many narcissists are poor, it's not a mental disorder exclusive to the rich. A lot of them have a lot handed to them on a silver platter but they blow all of ot away because of their inflated egos, as is the case of my mom. I have been to therapy and my therapist confirmed my mother was narcissistic and that I'm a codependent.
Educate yourself and don't gaslight victims of abuse! If you think every narcissist is attractive to others, read about covert narcissism. You might have it.
@@DMCdantenero112 Narcissists don't live in misery and don't go to therapy. Listen ... don't believe what your therapist said. Often these people are wolves in sheep's clothing. Try to find out what your therapist really thinks about you and start by reading your reports under the freedom of information laws. That will help you greatly.
@@keplermission4947 You misread, I went to therapy and told my therapist about my mom. My mom refused to go to therapy. And no, you really need to educate yourself. My therapist complemented me about my self awareness, and I'd rather trust her than someone like you who doesn't know anything about covert narcissism. Narcissists CAN live in misery. The fact that you don't know this shows that you are uneducated about the topic and have narcissistic traits you aren't aware of.
Maybe you should go to therapy? Or are you a "wolf in sheep's clothing" who preys on victims of abuse? Because you might be, and I might be wasting my time by giving you narcissistic supply.
What's sad is it took some of us till we got way older to finally be aware of narcs and avoid them but at least we're free. I studied decades about this and the knowledge and the bad experiences finally opened my eyes.

It’s been a year and some months since I been in contact with the narc. I knew he hated me when he embarrassed me with the girl he left me for. I knew he hated me in that very moment.
Mine went back to his girlfriend he dated for 11yrs. And when I told her you know what you're dealing with and he is not going to change. She was real quite when I told her. I found out as well that he laid hands on her. I'm not going to deal with any man that raises their hands on me.

That explains why the narcissist I was married to was always so unhappy! I mean nothing made him happy! Absolutely nothing! And I just kept on trying just like I did with the narcissist mother. Today I have left the state no contact with anyone from my past. They really are jealous wow!!
