First of all, I love you guys. I just bought my first drone 3 weeks ago. Mavic air. I started to watch some video about drones and I found your channel. Honestly I watching your videos for 3 weeks every time when I'm at hone. I'm from Hungary and I live in UK since 2012. The winter in my country is more could and more snowish. But I can't wait for spring because I'd to fly my drone in nice and sunny weather. Thanks for your videos. Really helps a lot and make my day. So thanks guys.
Love your vlog. I live in Norway, and yessss we have snow(a lot). You get true colours when the sun is out and the sky is blue. The clear white ground make things look crisp

I love your videos!, not long got a mavic air myself but always fly insight due to being worried about loosing the drone, how reliable would you say the return to home feature is and what altitude would you set it at?...need some advice haha
We get plenty of snow here in the USA (NJ)..a little rain/snow today. The trick is you've got to enjoy snowboarding! Then it's all worth while....But your right, hard to get good drone footage when it's snowing or poor lighting conditions. Enjoy your trip!

In Washington State, we mostly get snow in the mountain but never much in Western Washington. Last year just a dusting and nothing this year so far. I don't mind it much but, for the most part, I don't even fly in the snow. If for some reason we got some heavy snow then I might take it up just to record it.

I lived in Minnesota 32 years. i think this winter like last will get the heavy dump in March. Great videos! Moving to Arizona this year

Over here in the US, Wisconsin... lots of snow today! I have the same drone, thinking of getting some footage later. Never had a problem filming with my phantom 3 in the snow, we will see with the Mavic air!
I just recently flew my mavic air in snow(as it was coming down fairly hard) and looks amazing. Wasn't as low light I guess. Also love the snow:)

Loving the vid mate, love these type vlogs and your ideas of getting us lot involved 👍. Love the snow in the UK myself just wish we'd get a proper lot rather than the icing sugar coverings we get!! Had a fair bit last year though, would love to get some snow footage with my Spark. Keep up the great work mate.

I'm the opposite. I love snow but don't much care for the cold. Trying to shoot pictures and video in the cold is just so much more work and it's a constant struggle to keep hands warm and gear dry. Not great for battery life either. But, hey, if you want those beautiful winter shots you gotta suck it up and get out there. Haha! -14 celsius is about my limit for shooting outdoors, with or without my Spark.

does your drone controller give you weird errors like propellers not well placed when you fly in snow?
We've had over 36" of snow just in the month of January so far! LOL And it was 33 degrees below zreo fahrenheit for several days as well in the Midwest US.

Hi, I have flown my Mavic Air in - !6 C in Norway. ( it was the coldest so far in our area), over and into a valley about 800m approx. 80m high without any prob. Then started lagging but it manged to keep steady, It was a bright sunny day. 16 minutes total flight time. i have been flying Mavic Air for the last 11months, I am satisfied, although it has some issues, but still want to keep it.
Central Virginia/Eastern USA: I love snow but, unfortunately, we don’t get good, consistent snow anymore. Growing up in western Pennsylvania, I see snow on the ground sometimes from mid-November until March/April! Don’t fly drone in threatening weather (truth be told, haven’t flown my DJI Spark much recently).
I'm out skiing in the Alps at the moment dude and I'm having serious problems with my Spark. The temperature literally shreds the battery life and it's playing havoc with the gimbal too! I suppose it is -11 degrees out, but still, it's not as glamorous as I'd hoped haha! Great video again mate!
In Hungary it is common in winter time. Now it is -7 Celsius and we got snow yesterday.
Cleveland, Ohio. It does affect my drone flying but I just make sure for there to be light and no active snow falling. Luckily it's always freezing here so the snow doesn't melt away too fast.
People get obsessed with the technical quality of the shot these days. It's the atmosphere you create , the subject and the story you are telling that is king. I thought the tractor shot ticked those boxes . Good vlog.

I loved it, and i really regret that i didn't have my Spark, like 20 years ago, for capture the Snowmens with my brothers, or the sledding races along the fields.
It's been 20 years i didn't see snow.

from Erie pa. united states we get about 140-160 inches in the winter we just had 14'" in 24 hours. I guess always being around it you kinda get sick of it all i can think about is spring and warm weather soon..I really dont like to fly in the winter much even know some of the best video you get are in the winter.. if you need some snow we can send you some. lol
I live in Thailand now. What's snow? Seriously though I was born and bred in Yorkshire so it was no big deal around there. Just a chance to make slides in the playground and have snowball fights. When I moved to London I used to love watching the Kensington set try and drive in it, absolutely hilarious.

Yooo I'm from the Netherlands and everytime it snows here traffic becomes a mess. This year it's was okay, I don't like snow because it's too cold and to much accidents happen. Only good thing is that I can work from home in these occasions.

Don't stand next to your car when you calibrate your drone mate! It's a large metal object and can give you faulty readings.
I'm pretty sure you've done it for the sake of the video. However, i'll say it: don't take off your drone from a metal surface (ie. car). That's why it was asking for compass calibration. Also, the calibration should be done away of any metal or interference.
Yes, I have snow every year :) I enjoy it if it's over the weekend. Otherwise traffic is a mess.

Ha ha great video. Hey I will trade you. No flying for me, will take your weather any day lol.. Got a couple feet of snow but the killer is the dang temperature has been -26C for a couple days in a row. Cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey! ha ha ... anyway Happy Flying!!
