First use i think I see for me is that it would finally be possible to control the octa patterns live handsfree with my feet so I can do a proper lead vocal performance
I go over it in some of my other videos and will do a dedicated one soon, it’s in the Ableton max 4 live performance pack and it allows you to create snapshots of the whole Ableton project. So I snapshot Al my eq, distortion settings etc for each song in my set and trigger the snapshot via a midi clip triggered from the Digitakt when I trigger the pattern for the next song
Ah brilliant! I'm slowly getting through all your videos, lot to take in. Trying to learn ableton to the point where I have similar template to yorus but the slow going meant I defaulted to Logic the other night, just to get some stuff done. I'll keep reapporaching it until it makes sense but I found the routing through Overbridge plus my mixer (my slightly counterintuitive Ui24R mixer, where channel 1 is actually 11) wasn't clicking right. I recently received a shipping update from Pirate MIDI so hopefully a bridge6 will be with me before summer's end. More power to you, thanks for all the content!
Hey! Yeah it takes a little trial and error to get setup with how you want things, hopefully these videos will help in some way. I obviously go a little too geeky but there’s ideas you can adopt for sure :) Let me know how u get on with bridge 6! Bit of a learning curve but they provide a lot of tuition on their YT page and il have more content up by time you get it too
Have you though of getting the mod devices that would bring a lot to your dawless it’s an unreal system which is open source with over 300 plug-in pedal boards
I’ve considered it many times! And I’ve tested the online player where you can route audio from your studio and I wasn’t keen on the quality of the plugins particularly the distortion plugins. Amazing concept though!
This looks brilliant. Hate the lag with pattern changes between elektron boxes. Seems like a lot of setup on the software side, which im not so into but definitely gonna get one to try it out. Btw, love your electro. Right up my street. U ever play in bristol?
I’m not getting any lag if they are all running together cause the program change is sent before the pattern ends so all boxes cue up. Check routing and settings to make sure you’ve got everything setup efficiently
Also played in Bristol about a year and half ago in my last project but not played out I. A while! I’m gonna try and get some gigs lined up soon though
Love it mate! So great to see our controllers making their way outside of the realm of guitar pedalboards :)
Absolutely!

Ah yes! There is that too eh! It’s designed to be a foot pedal, and you could add expression pedals that a guitarist would use!
great video, by the way, what is the m4l that name as variations and what do you use it for, it looks interesting!

Nice demo!
Is that one of those guitar pedal boards where the majority of your setup is attached to?
Yes, it is! Warwick rockboard cinque 5.2 I’ve got and then it goes in a peli case
