Singapore for 3 days & nights

During our Malaysia Backpacking journey, Thamara & I did a VISA-RUN via Singapore which we both had not been to before. We decided to spend 3 days & nights in the City. The English name Singapore comes from the Malay name Singapura which is believed to have been derived from Sanskrit meaning "Lion City".
After checking in at the Hotel which was located perfectly, we walked around town until later at night. Turned out we walked for 10 miles (16 km)!The next day we had planned a Historical Singapore Bike Tour with ‘Let’s Go Tour Singapore’ and our guide ‘Tay’ was the best. It also includes the Formula 1 (F1) Circuit in Singapore where you actually get to ride on the racetrack!
After grabbing some food at Marina Bay Sands Food Court, we enjoyed the (free) light & water show. The last day we took the Metro, and spent wandering the streets of Chinatown and eating some great food again there with the ‘Hawker stalls’. In the evening we visited Gardens by the Bay which also has a lovely Light show. All in all, we had a great time and enjoyed every minute of it. Even though it is a relatively expensive City to stay in, we certainly can recommend it for a few days 😁.
