    We have waited 60 years for this to happen. The slowest upgrade in British road building.

      Surely this is the Hayle by-pass?

    Shockingly short of laybys. And exits. Looks horrible for a new road. Most of it had been upgraded to dual carriageway. They should have made 3 lanes to make it really effective. Look at the near stanstill traffic on one side. No rest stops on either side. This is out of date before it opened.

    Looks brilliant now mate looks like the old a30 in parts will remain closed for several months as its reduced to rubble

      I believe they are going to turn it into an access road that runs alongside. However that's going to take months to complete

  • @clnre
    @clnre 4 месяца назад +1

    Two lanes look to be complete in each direction, so why is traffic only able to use one lane?

      probably safety for workers still putting in signs, barrier, fencing etc etc. Small things

    let's just hope people on this road can actually cope esp at the slips roads at carland cross which has been ridiculous with the single lanes this week or 2 but on a positive glad cornwall has lovely new dual carriageway no more being stuck behind tractors 😊lol

  • @charlottelarimore9261

    This is nearing into its completion, now this dual carriageway will run from J31 of the M5 to the loggans moor roundabout.

    timestamp 11:22 why on earth is there what looks to be a whole lanes qorth of road and narrows again?

    • @rednammoc
      @rednammoc 4 месяца назад +1

      sightlines - 70mph road design requires more forward visibility, so the barrier has to be further back from the running lane so you can see around the bend further.

    How many CAA guidelines you trying to break? It's people like you giving professional drone operators a bad name.

    • @droning-about
      @droning-about  3 месяца назад +1

      In my opinion none, the drone never goes more than about 150m from the chase vehicles behind it. VLOS is maintained, that's why you see empty stretches due to limitations of flight speed and later being sat waiting in traffic. However happy to discuss what you think was done wrong
