Sehr schöne! Wunderbar! I was stationed in Germany 🇩🇪 fit 4 years, I wish I was into rc then, 82-86. Lived in Germany 🇩🇪 till '03. I wanted to say that is some of the best landings I have seen anywhere! Some. The 2 jűnge were Sehr gut!. Salute!
There were a few VERY nice "greased" touchdowns here. And a few where I winced even watching them after the fact! Thank you for taking the time to compile them! Something that just popped into my head while watching this and seeing a few VERY long run-outs. Does anyone make a "thrust-reverser" for real RC turbines? It wouldn't really fit into most military or sport type planes, but there are some who like commercial birds. Just wondering is all.
Thanks for watching. I think the disadvantage to trying to incorporate that is weight. Cool factor would be awesome but additional weight and complexity would not.
I would like your opinion on this - I fly flight sims, FPV, and am working on my pilot's license. Usually with RC my landings are pretty smooth, usually really smooth. When I bring it to fields I get complimented a lot by other RC pilots. I think there is a lack of practice in RC. My first day I got my new plane I just flew slow patterns and figured out stall characteristics, slow speed stuff. I got a good idea of when it wants to come down. Then I did LONG takeoffs at low power to feel what it felt like in ground effect, at different speeds. I think the jets are cool but everytime I've gone to RC airshows with jets a lot of the times it feels like jet people are happy to go fast, but find it hard to go slow. Does it have something to do with the airframe? Like if I handed them my light RC planes would they grease the landing everytime, too?
Great question and thinking Christopher. I don't think it's an easy black and white answer to it all but here are my thoughts. Flight sims are so NON realistic I have a difficult time using them. Planes are way too floaty. I haven't spent enough time to do adjustments which i'm sure is possible. But overall, not like flying at all. I think there are many factors as well as nerves that get in the way sometimes. Some folks may be great at landing when flying at a quiet field with only them up in the air but add some more planes and more people and nerves get in the way. With nerves comes timing. I have only been flying turbines for maybe 13 years now and the first 7-8 were learning and learning and learning. Lots of rough landings. 30 great landings and then 1 crappy one. Now. They are pretty uneventful which is great but it took me time. YES, the biggest challenge I think jet/turbine flies have is slowing down the aircraft. That should be a huge focus of learning the aircraft. Gear down, flaps down, see how slow you can get it and what happens to it.
@The Lighter Side Of RC yeah I agree with your take on flight sims. The planes won't go down. While I disagree with there being a license for RlF, I think we need to acknowledge familiarity as an important step of owning any plane
I know your channel for a few month ago and you and your videos are always so great, please continue like that for long time! But I have to be honest, my favorite guy is trusty the bended screwdriver 😉😉. Wish him huge adventures and a long life 👍👍
A compilation from the events this year! Thanks for watching!
Love those Videos, keep em comming
Most RC jet landing videos on youtube are very untidy - its nice to see so many beautiful landings! Very inspiring!
Thanks a lot!
Really nice models and skills!
Just catching up.
I see that!
Many impressive landings. Always a pleasure to see. 👍
Many thanks!
I like the change in events throughout the video- This video goes great with a cup of coffee.😁
Thanks! 😃
Nice video, greetings from Remi
Thanks Remi!

The guy that flys the “lit up” Pennzoil jet can grease it in there, can’t he? Wow!
Lol. Thanks Chad. That’s me!😂. Appreciate it.
Your Hurrican is so darn smooth and stable on final I think even I could land it!
Thanks Larry! so fun to fly
Sweet some really good landings there looks like it was a HOOT.
My Fav!
Awesome video and excellent editing. I came to see rc landings and that is exactly what I got!
Thanks! 👍
Beautiful Landings! Love the content!
Thanks a ton!
Incredible compilation John, thanks for the hard work that went into that video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love the f4 phantom
😎
We will be doing a lot like this for sure at best in the west. I saw your name on the list!
I"m on the List!

Some are good a few great
HAHA. YES!
What jet is featured at 10:12 and 11:25? Nice color scheme!
That is a CARF Mephisto.
Nothin bad or ugly about those landings.
🤔🙌😎
What model jet is landing at 2:05 and at 6:56 with lights
Huracan from STJETS/Aeropanda!
You never flare an F18 Hornet 😀
😂😊
Landings are always the best maneuver of every flight. But some of them should have more practice with a basic aircraft... 😉😉
Haha. Always!

Haha. Thanks David!😊
Most of these landings are way too fast and the approaches are not good
Oh come on! There all perfect!😂
More RPM is equal to more thrust ? Tell me
😎
Сажать нормально никто не может. Плюхают, как получится. Выдерживания вообще нет.
