- 1990s R&B group SWV has resurrected its career with a comeback in 2012. The group's album "I Missed Us" was well received by fans of the genre as well as critics. In 2013 SWV earned its second Grammy nomination with a remake of Patti LaBelle's signature hit 'If Only You Knew." It was SWV's first Grammy nom since 1994.
Overall the group has been nominated for over 20 awards from the Grammys, American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Soul Train Awards and Kid's Choice Awards. SWV are winners of eight Billboard Awards and has sold over a combined 10 million LPs and Singles domestically.

Coko has a very unique voice and she’s a powerhouse. That soprano is something else!!! Leelee has a very pretty and controlled voice. She’s consistent. I love Taj’s lower register and tone.

Let’s also keep in mind that during this performance, Coko was still healing from having surgery on her stomach and she still killed it! What’s so crazy is that SWV never won any Grammys or any awards from those award shows in the 90’s, but yet their timeless classics are still being played on repeat 29 years later. Ain’t that something 🤦🏽♀️ I just want so much more for them, but they will soon get everything that they deserve and more!

The performance wasn't Patti's. It was K. Michelles & her team decided for Tamar & her to bring Patti just to show love & support for R&B & eachother. I'm sure it was Patti's decision to sing If Only You Knew. K. Michelle knows she doesn't have the range for the song so she sung what she could. I just wish everyone had a chance to shine for once.

It is so hard to cover such a legendary song like this one but...SWV DID DAT!!!! I have a lump in my throat (it almost brought me to tears)! By the way...I saw them perform this at the Greek in Los Angeles. I'm so glad these ladies are back together because they are an AMAZING group. They are worth checking out if ever they tour your city.
