Don't feel bad. I didn't get my license until I was well beyond the age you're "supposed" to because I HATED driving. One of the things that contributed to this? The people teaching me (family) were NIGHTMARES to learn with. I finally went to a class for it, where the person would be professional and not yelling or laughing or whatever else, and I finally got the confidence to get my license. Not to say this wasn't a hilarious video, but if you have the "wrong" energies in the car when trying to drive, that will make you so anxious that you really can't drive. I get why some parents get mad when their kids act a fool in the car... like calm down so I can drive, lol.
Facts! You cant settle for a teacher. Find someone whose teaching style cliques with your learning style. I was a late bloomer for my license too. (22, currently 24).

I never got to practice on an parking lot like this but in just like a week and a half I drive decently down the roads to and from my work using my mom’s car. Ngl Berlin gotta be more calm and patient man😂 dude was “BRO”-ing everything. Dontai was pretty chill and reminded Roc to take his time they’re in no rush. I feel Roc had some anxiety especially driving a truck that has more power than a regular car would. That gas is more sensitive and so were the brakes so gradually and gently apply that pressure to those pedals. Then again each car will have their own sensitivity to get used to.
Just apply pressure like Joe was saying with that hell on the floor and remain calm like Dontai kept trying. You’re straight bru, try again.

Watching this, I must've been a breath of fresh air for my driving instructor. Never been behind the wheel, but man had me on the road and parking at a packed Stop n Shop on day 1. I had nothing but God and years of Mario Kart on my side 😭

I've been driving for just a smidge over 2 months now and it's been nerve racking but within the last few weeks I've really pulled through. I recommend learning to drive, you just don't know how fun it is to just drive a vehicle until you can drive yourself somewhere. It's gives you a feeling of responsibility and control in your life when you can take you or your family members somewhere. Personally, I was able to just take the permit computer test at the DMV when I turned 15 and then I was all set. I could only drive on backroads for the first few weeks but here in April I've been driving on bypasses, and taking me and my mom to get food. Only thing I haven't done yet is drive on the interstate which I plan to in the summer. Welp there was your online words of encouragement, good luck.

Rico learning how to drive makes me feel so much better as a 20 yr old who still does not have a license. I never had anybody to teach me and I have really bad anxiety when it comes to driving. Eventually I’ll overcome this fear and become and excellent driver I know 🤞

I just turned 21 still don’t have my license. I’ve been on the road a couple times and it gets easier as you go. The more you get behind that wheel especially when you hit the road. Your confidence will build and it’ll feel a whole lot better (after a while).That anxiety is something else but it’s just all in your head cause i was able to get over it, the more and more i got on the road. I have test coming up soon,best of luck to the both of you for up coming test in the future. We got this !!!

(This is late) This was adorable but to answer your question: The teachers weren't that great.
1. They should have taught how to drive straight forward and reverse. They should have taught you also about momentum, angular momentum, and then steering. They SHOULD NOT have had you do the snake exercise first.
2. They moved too quickly with the lesson. They didn't make sure you were comfortable with the first exercises. Driving requires hours of practice before it can go into your procedural memory.
3. They are letting you use a truck instead of a car. The issue is that larger vehicles have more complex physical dynamics because of space, weight, and momentum. This specific.truck is harder because it has a longer bed.
I could say more but overall I REALLY appreciate them trying to help you drive. It is not easy but it is not exactly hard as well. It takes a while BUT YOU WILL GET THERE.
Oh and also STOP TELLING IM TO MAKE SHARP TURNS WITH A TRUCK. He needs to learn softer turns first because he doesn't understand angular speed and momentum
