The Tony Greig of 4WDs ?? Enjoyed your review . . I have the 2015 GLX and we Love it. . . Took the 3rd row out for drawers & fridge. . Works great. . Just dont sell off your 3rd row , you will need them if you ever re-sell. .
Why is there such a great delay in supply to the Namibian Market? Is it all attributed to COVID? Is the demand exceeding production capacity? We're struggling to even get a forecast on the backlogged orders. Not even a tentative Indication of supply dates?
I think this vehicle is overated compared with the competition. Everest, Pajero sport and Mux are definitely better buys in this segment. Test drive them all before choosing the fortuner. I didn't choose it because: 1. 3rd row of seats hang on the sides when not needed, that's not very neat and it affects visibility. 2. The suspension is a bit stiff compared with the more comfortable ride from the competition. 3. 4x4 capability can only be selected on loose surfaces so you can't select 4x4 all the time unlike with the Everest and the Pajero sport. 4. In south africa this vehicle is the number 1 targeted suv for hijacking.
ride comfort not good.. you'll need to change the suspension. 3rd row seats pops sideways unlike its competitors which folds down giving a huge cargo space. no grab handles on mid row, so your passengers will hold on to your "head rest" which will make it wobbly in the future. but yeah its Toyota and it's the best selling SUV in the Philippines since it launch way back 2005 and it has already sold 220,000+ units eversince in the Philippines.
This is a part time 4x4, you cannot use 4x4 on anything hard only 2 wheel drive which is where the Prado leaves this car for dead as far as constant 4 wheel drive plus the Fortuner really is uncomfortable you will feel every bump in this cruiser……it needs air suspension plus if you are on the larger side of life you will feel closed in, definitely made for skinny people……🤔
I was thinking of unbolting those rears and taking them out for the bigger load space.😂❤
Great idea
Love your take. You exude confidence. I’ll take one!

Fortuner all the way❤
The best in the Caribbean 🇹🇹
It's like a 4Runner and a Highlander had a baby.
Top selling Mid Size SUV here in the Phillipines.👍
Is this like an American 4Runner sort of…but completely different at the same time.
It is the sportier version of 4runner the fortuner
It is up there where a Prado was n few years ago. Just as good, for far less money.

Covid and chip shortage.
Just got this
Excellent SUV.. 👍
Awesome vehicle 👌🏾
😮😮😮 awesome
Can anybody tell me the dimensions of the cargo space without the 3rd row? Thank you!
Dream car
On the cards …depending if I want it..usually it is needs and wants 😊
How do I import to uk?
I want see Fortuner in UK 🇬🇧.
😩
Grill V motion like Nissan is nice
Can't Toyota add a sun roof & revamp the infotainment system at least ❤
Talks about 3rd row and space for large families ..DOESN'T show how the seats in the back actually accommodate people.. Seriously????!?!?!!?..
It does and comfy but for children (6-14)
Buen video. Saludos de perú
Wish they would make it ride better on road. It can be really bouncy.
Agree, just pickedone myself, my old prado was way better

Nice
What about the Legender, is it coming to ZA?
I think not
Cambodia have the Legender
We already have the Fortuner and the Prado. Which are you going to replace with a Legender?
Nice good
Reviewer sounds somewhat of a fanboy
For less than $10,000, you could go for the Prado
Its not a bad car, but a prado or LC is a lot better
Not in the same price bracket.
Just an expensive shopping trolley
& travelling vehicle.😃😀😃😃🤣🤣🤣😆😆😆😁😁😁
Unlike the even more expensive shopping trolley…Landcruiser! 😁
Too expensive for what it is.
Please can you suggest a alternative?
Nissan Patrol y61. Brilliant vehicle.

I still prefer the 2015 model in 2022

Looks like a Nissan
Looks ugly, though very capable.
Toyota does not know how to design cars, ugly thing. Great cars otherwise.
