Its NOT lip sync, what don't YOU understand, she did not lip sync it, that is why you can't hear the fans or feedback or even ANY background noise, when they are playing her song, ITS DUBBED to fill in this interview, half of it is not even footage from her performing. You don't get it, they are saying she was LIVE at that place and doing an interview, notice the placement of the brackets

Re-read my comment, what she is playing is a show, what is being presented to us in this video is NOT a show, its a documentary style interview, not raw footage of the show with the audio, its is a common thing that is done. Whether she was good or bad live has nothing to do with why it was dubbed and everything to do with this style of interview...

It's not the matter of her lip-synching, it was live there. But in the video, for better quality, they just put the original recording to the video of the live performance. They even added audience sound. Anyone with half a brain can tell that that's the original recording.
A shame? haha with that criteria U2 would be the most selling artist at retirement homes, dont be so judgmental about teens, music has no age, plus Carly and John look really younger, so that goes well with teen target. Anyone who believes this is real are deluded. This video is fake. The performance may have been real, but this video is clearly fake, they put the studio version over it, dubbed in some of the cheering.
The song is played over the clip and mixed with the ambient mic, you can't say if the performance was actually playback or not as the clip is for promotional use. If you don't know shit, stay quiet.
