Hi, how long did it take the health visa to get approved?
Beautiful place..too expensive ,do not stay there ,you can stay across the street and get a free daily pass to the water amenities at atlantis..
Where are you able to get a speedy turn around time for the required Covid test? I am planning to go and need to allow enough time to get tested and apply for the health visa, all within 5 days (day of my flight counting as one of them).
People kept asking if the family was rich. And how they are able to travel and etc. Welllllllll You save, you budget, you plan... Who cares if they are financially stable, well off or not. Just enjoy the video. I'm not rich but I go on vacation at least twice a year. Vacations are necessary when you work and pay bills all year. Go on vacation! It's good for you! It's worth it!

Only people who go to the bahamas are either : rich,live there and have to travel back and forth if they go to another country,know people and get invited there,win the trip on some kind of prize or gets sponsored
Very very rarely you would have even the money to travel 10-20k to travel there especially for a few days
Some people can afford to put 50 euros or dollars a week
Some of us only once a month (or not)
Which all in all it would take at least a few years to get money aside to go there
I totally agree. I’m not rich by any means but I have three girls. With growing up in the “hood”, I believe in showing my girls that the world is bigger than what we see on a day to day basis. I work hard to give them the best that I can. Kuddos to this family for this amazing video!

I don’t think it was people were afraid they would test positive it is because you will have to find a place to be tested wherever you are within 72 hrs before returning to the US.
Atlantis offers their guest test onsite.

Thank you for posting this! We are travelling to Atlantis in the next 30 days for a week and were unsure what to expect with all of the restrictions in place. This definitely put our minds at ease.

Is this a vacation that could be under $5k for a family of 4? We budget yearly for a vacation and we put aside $5k just for family vacations. We skip a year if we want to take a 10k vacation. For the ones asking if you have to be rich. My husband and I save $50 each every week and we are able to take nice vacations.
Including flights it may not be… the nights alone could be 3k+
For some of the cheapest rooms, say 6 nights would be $3,100
You could come close even staying at a nice location but you also have to factor in food expenses and excursions. My trip for wife and I and our 2 children (17 and 12) $4150 with access to water park. We factor in approx $1200-1500 for food for 5 days approx but that’s probably more high end as we are conservative when it comes to expensive food spots. Sometimes you have to splurge though, especially if you and your family work hard and during this Covid bs. Hope you have a great one, I was hell bent on going.

@@crazygma9319 actually, it was mentioned that the resort hosted the family. Any other costs for this trip is probably a tax write off due to the channel being a "family travel channel". Based off the views, they are definitely making making $ off of the RUclips channel. So not only are they traveling for free, they are getting paid to travel as a family!

I visited Atlantis resort in January 2020, my son and I stayed at the Cove. We truly enjoyed our visit. 🏝

I've just recently went on a Cruise🚢 to the Bahamas🇧🇸 at the beginning of this year, I have always always wanted to visit Atlantis Paradis Island, this is my dream ✈trip, I really hope to visit this year for my Birthday🎂🎉 in August and stay at the Royal.

When you get there schedule that covid test immediately for way back...we waited a couple of days and where we stayed at the royal .....the test were all booked...so we had to schedule at the beach which is drive up testing only...cab driver who took us was super nice and was gunna charge us 40 but we gave her 80 just for waiting with us...other then that the trip was super awesome the locals are the nicest people I’ve ever met..my kid had time of her life at Atlantis Kids Adventures...THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO!!
We have been several times in the Bahamas, now my kids are bothering me again to take them back to Atlantis . in 2019 we stayed at east side of the Royal Towers of Paradise Island. My kids love the food ( specially conk salad) , the indoor and outdoor activities, the beach ( blue sand and white sand) , The aquarium, horse carriage, fleet market, Junkanoo ( happens in boxing day -one day after Christmas ), Karaoke, boat ferry, sailing with the Pirate ship, taking to taxi drivers and many more. I recommend to everyone to go to the Bahamas if you want to have a blast. If you want to stay in Royal Towers get 14th floor and up for better view. You can also choose the marina or the harbor side. Both have breathtaking views. BTW-nice video and you guys stayed also at the east side of Royal Towers facing the beach. Thanks for the beautiful video.

Thank you so much for this amazing video! I will be leaving for the Bahamas on Sunday, February 21st. I will be staying the first 3 days at Baha Mar and the last 2 days at Atlantis The Cove. Both resorts are complimentary for all 5 days and I have a food and beverage credit at both properties and free slot play as well. I was a little nervous regarding the process for testing once on the island but after watching this video I feel so much more at ease. I am so looking forward to this trip and cannot wait to go. My son and I loved to travel and loved the Alantis. Your video made us wish we were there again. We haven't traveled during this pandemic. Right now, I'm still inside hiding. @@jadak1011 Exactly, I love to travel and so I work hard and save. I don't buy the $5 cups of coffee, extra clothes, jewelry, purses, fake nails, cigarettes, $1000 phones etc. I work and then I go home an cook my own food. It's amazing how much money you can save if you cut back on all of those unnecessary items. It is all in how you choose to spend your money.
Trust me you would need to be rich to do what they did. Its not an all inclusive. Atlantis is not for the budget traveler. I am sure with taxes and grats their rooms were at least 1k per day.
If the are well off good for them. Work hard and you can achieve the American dream. This family is proof. A lovely family living a good life.
We traveling to Jamaica in July and I’m happy they have such extreme measures. Hopefully I will be vaccinated by then for extra caution. I love the Atlantis. That water park is unmatched! Those rooms definitely have been REMODELED. That was my only complaint. The hotel needed some upgrades. I can’t remember what was the name of the private beach that we went to but they had a Wipe Out type setting in the water and we had a blast on it.

Yes! Atlantis has been doing great in the reopening stage i’ve been twice since their reopening and each time staff has been friendly and everything was so clean

Hi! Me and my family are heading there in a few weeks, and we have some questions that we'd like anybody to answer. What we need to know is what is the Covid health insurance. Is it something we pay regardless of what happens or do we have to pay if something happens. Or am I totally confused right now. Thank you, enjoyed the video, it was very helpful! :)
My wife and I were there in January also (14th until the 22nd). Had a wonderful time too. You are from New York and we are from Jersey (yeah sorry about that). Your video covered so much and I relived our trip as I watched yours. Olives is our favorite and we love to look at the yachts on their patio. So relaxing and great food. My son and I went on a cruise to the Bahamas in 2019. I couldn't decide which excursions to pick. I had it down to the Atlantis or Blue Lagoon. To say my son loves anything water related is an understatement. I finally picked Blue Lagoon because we went to Perfect Day at Coco Cays. I'm so thrilled I picked Blue Lagoon because of all the water features he did. He had a blast. But I do want to visit Atlantis, it looks like a lot of fun. Another great video.

When we visited Nassau, we just walked through the lobby of Atlantis like the broke people we are, but it was fun.
