As great of a pianist as she is, she was an even better accordionist. Look up some of the earlier clips of the Lawrence Welk Show where she played with Myron, or check out her early accordion LP, "Accordion In Hi-Fi." She did some amazing playing on that album.

I am 50 but really didn’t discover Jo Ann until late 90s I think. I do remember LW from my childhood even though my family never watched it.

It's almost strange to see her playing a grand piano instead of those decorated uprights she used to bang away on.
It just doesn't sound the same on a grand piano. They couldn't find an upright for her?
