Congrat's on an early find. Mine struggled to stay in tune temp change is frequent. Horribly setup since guitar center doesnt touch them. It was the last one instock I could find in january so bought it anyway. This is my mod guitar
Put the 58/15 LT pickups in it and has a great sound. Put the locking SE tuners on and definitely helped. Last thing for now is to tighten the tremolo since the 10s add a decent amount. evenutually will get a way switch and different pickup assignments.
I love the neck feel and is a great supplement, in its current state, to my custom 24. It probably gets more play time than the C24 at this point. Enjoy!

Hey thanks for the video demo of the guitar and build. I too did notice the indentations on the neck at the fret positions. I imagine that this is how they built it. The one thing I did notice that might be a little troubling with my high e seem to be physically lower than the rest of the strings and the bridge. Intonation notch for it seems to be misaligned, you had any observations like that?.

No that's interesting, can you raise it at the bridge?

Update: Only issue I've had thusfar is that my output jack was not tightened and the retaining nut + washer fell off at one point. An easy fix but did involve taking off the output jack plate and fishing it back out.

Have you any problems with keeping the guitar in tune? I tried one at a local very reputable shop and the off the wall set up bad high action , very unusual for PRS which are usually spot on. Their tech adjusted action and still could not keep in tune ( I brought my own Snark ) . I think I just picked one that wasnt quite right yet. Going to try again after holidays. Cheers

Not particularly, I was actually surprised with the new strings that it didn't get too far out of tuning in the first few days. My action is also super super low but haven't seen any buzz yet that I've noticed. I guess if I were you I'd just keep tinkering with it.

I had to take my for a set up. The low E intonation was #. The set up helped. I am considering getting lock tuners put on because I have to tweak tuning pretty often. Tone is very good. I play it through a Roland JC 40.

@davidedmunds7950 I didn't buy that one, and now even Sweetwater said February for their next shipment as they are out of em. I think I'm spoiled by locking tuners.

Not an issue for me at all

It’s doubtful the locking tuners would help. They just help with string changes. On my PRS SE I replaced the nut with a Graph Tech and it’s now the most stable guitar I own, including ones worth quite a bit more.
