  • Next year could be your year to move to Japan and I want to help you make it happen! There are so many ways to get a visa to move to Japan, and not all ways require a degree or for you to teach English.
In this video, I'll go through the top ways to move to Japan, and what you need to do after you move here (how to find a place to live in Japan, set up a bank account, get a phone number, get a credit card and make friends!).

*The Digital Nomad Visa is new, but for only 6 months it doesn't seem worth the trouble to me. Particularly if you come from a country where you can already spend 6 months of the year in Japan already without a visa (the 3 month entry done twice a year). But I've included the link just in case!

My name is Kirstie and I'm a Canadian who has been living in Japan since January 2020.
It has always been my dream to live abroad, and after several years or hopping around the globe I have now settled in my home base of Tokyo. I put most of my travel guides and life abroad information on my website, www.mostwandered.com, but I also like to share what life is like living around the world on RUclips as well!
