Move over, Taylor! Ally is coming through. I think this is so adorable! I can definitely hear James in this beat. He did a great job. The only thing I don't love about this is Scheana. The self-proclaimed "guys girl". Scheana is the complete opposite of a girls girl! I'm betting that Scheana asked to be in the video bc God forbid something happens without her. She's the one who took lessons to be a pop star! 😭
I'm sorry and embarrassed to say that I was thinking the same thing that you expressed. Ally is such a fresh and authentic young woman and well loved. Plus, Most of these actors in this video are younger and Scheana stands out a bit. I could understand her being in the video if it were a VPR music video and the other female cast members were in it but it's not. Scheana seems calculating, manipulative and always about herself and that goes against Ally's image. I think her being in this wasn't in Ally's best interest. Oh no! First Arianna dancing and now Ally singing. I don't want Ally bothered by any future jealousy.
