The defender would close the space inside and almost instantly he was exploiting the outside and vice versa. Now the defender has to readjust. You could had 100 more yards to the pitch and those defenders would NEVER find their footing tracking back.
Giggs's weaving in and out while defenders ran back toward their own goal was legendary for sure. You should do a video just of Giggs making slide tackles... he was one of the best.
