I just bought a 2022 Limited and this is my first new Ford. I have always driven Chevy's, Toyota's, and Hondas. I have to say that I'm very impressed with the build quality and ride. Consumer reports tears this thing apart with its predicted reliability rating so I'm crossing my fingers. Chevrolet gets a bad rap as well with them and I've never had a single issue other than maybe a recall here and there. I think all manufactures have their issues, it all boils down to personal opinion. I think that the Explorer is the best-looking SUV in this segment, I'll trade it in before the warranty expires so I'm not worried about reliability.
The limited model only offers the 2.3 four, if you want a the 3.0 v6,you have to go to the explorer platinum or the 3.0 twin turbocharged in the explorer ST.
You gave the wrong info about the hitch. You don't have 5300 pounds of tongue capacity. You ment to say 5300lb of towing capacity and 500lb of tongue capacity.
not a fan of 4cys , we have no need for a 3 row 7-8 pass family car ,for just 2 ,nice if they offer a 2 row did see one Durango with the 3rd row delete had 2 under floor storage lockers
@@zachattack83 it's obvious you can't stay on topic. Exploder/Aviator are on their 10th recall since 2020, and now the '21 F-Series have 2 recalls. Get back to us after your rehab is successful.
@@UnionThugg mine hasn’t been recalled. They all have issue. My last ( and second dodge ) is arguably my last. Of course the Durango won’t have very many recalls they got al that out of the way 10 years ago when they redid it. Stay out of the forums it will be ok buddy.
no, it's not better than the 2021 Durango, and it's for one reason... Durango has wireless CarPlay & Android Auto. No excuse for Ford not to get that functionality into a 2021 vehicle. I'd be looking at buying an Explorer ST right now if they had that feature.

Yes
This will be my dream SUV! Nice job Ben.
10:55 I was stunned by the mountains 👍
Why does it have the old ford chime?!?!!?!😳😳😳
That happens sometimes it forgets it’s a newer car😂
I have it in this red with tan interior. Love it
Where is this explorer? Is it still available?
One of my favourite Fords.
Why no sync 4
OMG I Love It ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Idk I have this car and I drove a lot of cars snd this car is a beast I’m very surprised that it’s a Ford
Pulling the hood latch twice,,,interesting. It’s crazy that $51k is the norm for vehicles
There’s way lower prices of the the same car but this one is $51k because it’s the highest and luxurious trim
At this point idk the car i want in future. Ben help me out. Mercedes or BMW?
Depends on what you want
@@BenHardyCars what's your thought. I want to know which your prefer
@@afedumm depends what model?
Looks wise, not even close!
does it only come with the 2.3 four banger not the 3.5 ? also only in 3 row ? which I don't need.

The limited also offers a 3.3 v 6 hybrid option too. No more 3.5 v6 offered.

compare Rebel and Trx
Which camera do you use? Also, great review!
Canon eos m50
@@BenHardyCars Alright, thanks!
That’s a pretty shade of red. So Ben, which one would you choose, Explorer or Durango?
Explorer st
Can you review the ST????
Already did
A tahoe vs explorer video, pls!!
Really compare the explorer limited to the Durango sxt with a citadel package and a explorer platinum to a Durango citadel trim
Why is there a red diagonal line constantly on the tablet
It’s a sticker protecting the touch screen
Should have the 2.7L V6 EcoBoost.
People are scared buying little 4cyl.
No they aren’t.

Not a fan of the old Ford chime
I agree, the chimes share the same concept but the newer one has more base and a more updated sound

Nope, keep away from the 4 cylinder turbo, heard that model has too many running issues
Not really, my dad has a 2017 with the 2.3 ecoboost and it had 80,000 miles, no issues.
Has*
Vê se lembra de mim
Safety wise better, looks and build quality, no.
Durango is far nicer and isn't plagued with engineering and manufacturing flaws like the Ford.
You’ve obviously never owned a dodge.

I bought a 2021 limited terrible ride quality and 4 cylinder pulls good sounds aweful
