To prepare for some upcoming camping trips I have built this simple outdoor sink that uses 1-5 gallon jugs and this inexpensive water pump from Amazon. It works great and for under $20 is super affordable. - Хобби

Exactly what I was looking for
I thought about doing this, nice to see it works! Thanks for sharing! 🎉
thanks for your idea. i love simplicity.
You’re welcome. Let us know how it goes if you build yours.
I so needed an idea like this. Thanks a ton!!!
dude. this is amazing
Thank you
Needed this
Thank you so much!!! This is a great idea .
I need to do a follow up video on this. It still works great but I forgot to mention to get the hose to drop to the bottom of the jugs using a metal straw works great or else they will float to the surface.
Genius Idea 🙏🙏
we use the word 'built' very differently.
But we want a sink that drains
The link is not working for the pump
Epic
That’s a really simple idea. Where did you get that water jug from?
Thanks! So you can’t just buy an empty water jug, SURPRISINGLY! But if you know somebody who gets water deliveries maybe they can give you an empty or you can also go to Walmart which has a new / exchange water service where they offer 5 gallon and 3 gallon jugs. I may go pick up a 3 gallon jug just to have something a little smaller. 5 gallons is pretty heavy!
👍🏻
Where did you get your tubing from for the water to come up from the pump and what size was it?
I believe for that build I used the tubing that came with the pump. Then had to use a metal straw to weigh down the tubing to stay on the bottom. On the smaller bottle I plugged a metal straw with silicone mouthpiece directly into where the tubing goes and only had that. That worked nicely!
Can Not find that second Dark Blue Tub.. The one in the link you posted is totally different. Much Shallower...
It’s hard to find exact products on Amazon sometimes and then the stores change the products under same links and reviews.
I found that specific one at Aldi it was an Adventuridge one and I had linked a similar. Hope you’re able to find something but most any of those will work.
Appreciate it much. @@TheLynchBurgers
Is the jug you used for hand washing is it a 1 gallon jug?
Somehow I missed your comment. Apologies. The big jug is a 5 Gallon. The Small jug is a 1 Gallon. I think the 1 Gallon runs out too quickly, but is sure easier to carry and fill. Something in between like a 2.5 gallon would work great.
Dork😂
Bought a pump, only to discover it would not fit my 5-gallon water jug. Have looked everywhere for any other type of jug where the pump might fit, but can find nothing. It would have been nice to know in the video that "this will only work" on certain types of jugs.
Was the faucet too big or too small on the 5 gallon?
The one I purchased is too large for the neck.
@@LightofDeneb it’s been a bit since I last used mine. If I remember right mine was also loose on the jug, but I ended up using large thick rubber bands to make it fit more snug. Also a metal straw to get the hose to drop down into the jug.
Praise God 😂😂😂 I was thinking so hard like how would that work
Now make it with hot water.
Awe yes the real Glamping experience!
