This is incredible, I have a golden retriever and it is such a pain to get her back on when she jumps out. Great idea! I'm gonna build something like this this summer and its because of your cleverness. Thanks again.
+aergaesdrg dfgasdergwaesrg Yes I hear ya. I love taking the dog with us. I plan on making a video soon on how I made my ramp. How heavy is your golden? You may have to beef up your construction if she/he is much heavier than my son's dog at about 55lbs.
Awesome build, Robin. Just picked up my Tandem a month ago and use your pre roll of the sail during set up every single time. Thanks for that. I will now be building this ramp for my dog as well.
+Lean540 Congratulations on your new TI! I so love this boat! Milo is about 55lbs so keep that in mind. I have lots of extra life jackets and they work great. Tying the ramp up to the aka may mean you don't necessarily need them but as you can see it worked great for us. I hope you will share the video. Thanks for stopping by!
Awesome video! Perfect day. My husky would jump right in too :) You are definitely a multi-talented woman. Now I know how you stay slim with all that Rockin Robin cooking!
Great video and ramp! Any update on the video you were going to post on how to make it? I have a Yorkie (yes I said Yorkie, not a typical water dog) who's love the water. She dives off of the dock and the boat so I need a ramp that she can get herself out of the water whenever she wants. Thanks!
Hi Enidan, I have been so busy with my other channel, I haven't had time to make the video. Here's my other channel on cooking: ruclips.net/user/cookingmexicanrecipe just in case you want to cook something! I hope to get to that video soon.
+Matt Davis Hey Matt, sounds like your Rottie is a pretty big dog. You would need to make a heavy duty ramp. My son's dog is only in the 55 to 58 lb. range so this worked great for him. He sure enjoyed the ramp!
Hi Robin, Did you say you were going to show how you make this in another video, or is this somewhere else on your site? Looks like a great idea. We've got two Vizsla's who love kayaking and want to make something like this.
+Nick Fritz Hi Nick, I did say I would make a video showing how I made the dog ramp. Stay tuned, I will be making that video after the holidays. Thanks for asking!
Ha Ha Tommy! Keep on sailing I say! Hey, I've been wanting to make a little step to make it easier to get back in the boat after a swim for me. This could work if you aren't too heavy. Either that or make a beefier one.
Hi how are you? I signed up on your channel for some time, a beautiful canal congratulations, who visited the mine? just go there and mano part, grateful and continue in toasting with beautiful videos and adventures

+Truth 2027 Lol! Glad you liked the video! So you are a dual viewer I see! Cool. Cooking and sailing are my fav's!!

Great idea. Doggie overboard is the one reason I haven't taken my Rottie out on my TI. She is too big to just grab up out of the water.

Lol I'll just use this to relax in the water without worrying about a shark coming an nibbling on my toes.. 😂
+Dylan Zrim It's a great boat! I prefer lakes to avoid the sharks!

+Rockin Robin Sails - Great, thanks. I look forward to seeing it.
HI, can you tell me where you bought your dog life vest please? The company which makes them?? Thanks, Wendy.
+wendy superfan The brand is Ruffwear and I bought it at REI.
Not just for dogs. Hey, I'm 71. I need your ramp for ME! :-)

Cute Dog! Hot Son! Great Invention!
