Just saw this today! Amazing! In USA, we see bettas in big box stores labeled as “King” bettas, which might be a bit larger, but nothing like these. I keep my standard halfmoon betta in a heavily planted 10 gallon. Perhaps someday I will be lucky enough to have a Giant, in a setup worthy of him/her. Unfortunately, I only have room for the 10 gallon setup at the moment

Yeah its nice idea brother, potentially you will get normal plakat, over caudal plakat and double tail plakkat generation, but usually small caudals and imperfect head shape. and you have to selective again for next breeding..

Hmm very young betta, do you often do over feeding to the betta? Usually egg bound is caused by a buildup of fluid in the stomach of the fish due to incomplete metabolism. I suggest you to fasting your betta for a few days..

Do you know of someone in the United States of America who imports and sells high quality Giant Betta that you can recommend? Most of the ones I find for sale here have very small tail or all small fins, even for plakat. I prefer fin type like you have in this video (hmpk) Thank you!

Do you know of someone in the United States of America who imports and sells high quality Giant Betta that you can recommend? Most of the ones I find for sale here have very small tail or all small fins, even for plakat. I prefer fin type like you have in this video (hmpk) Thank you!
