Look at Rajdeep is again and again using word 'we' in the interview which means he is a part of Congress and not a journalist.
It is refreshing to see that at last Mr.Sibal could open up. Many of his ideas are currently shared by even non-Congress citizens. He was very expansive in expression when it came to Modi ,saying Modi is not India. That India is bigger than Modi-Shah. Nobody would dispute that. Actually ,that applies more to his party which is run by a family and Sibal was clearly hesitant to say that. The family of his party is ruled like a royalty. He said 10 crore youth came in electoral rolls which remained untapped by Congress. Obviously so. His party president Rahul do not even know what NCC is. He desired that Congress should take the debate about the rise of right wing ideological aggression to masses . Even though he did not mention Modi's name, he equated Macron with Erdogan,which shows his bias. Without provocation ,Erdogan converted Saint Sophia church into mosque,betraying the ideals of founding father of modern Turkey i.e Kemal Ataturk whereas Macron was defending his country's values since French Revolution. what his party would have done when faced with threats and destruction by fundamentalist forces in India?. Of course the Congress has a dismal record in dealing with terrorism. What he said about the ideological stand Congress needs to take at this juncture is broadly right. But nothing is possible till Gandhi family hangs around the neck of Congress like a grind-stone,which Sibal,for obvious reasons could not say loud.
