- This wool is mostly left over from last year and the reason we are only selling it now is because the price has not been overly great for crossbred wool, and still isn't. But it has to go as we are shearing our sheep over the next few weeks and need the space in the shed!
Thanks for watching!

Nice bit of precision reversing (4:58) there mate!
Haha thanks Ross, don’t put a trailer behind me though. Different story😄
Nice looking truck. And the Lucerne is looking good.
Don,t say sorry , this vid was interesting all the bits together is good . It goes to show that there is always some thing to do on a farm !
Thanks Bob, much appreciated
Good ol mate 👍
Is there any profit in wool these days or does it just cover costs?
Bit up and down at the moment. Cross bred wool is struggling to cover costs. Merino is still making good money? Got 1300c/kg for ours month or so ago. 65mm
@@ourfarmlifeaus thanks for taking the time to respond. I’m hoping to setup a lambing enterprise co-op after I exit my current business about 2 years from now (hopefully) so trying to learn as much as I can in the interim. I’m thinking Australian Whites might be good to avoid the wool burden. Alternatively create a wool value chain with the enterprise but the investment in textile manufacturing might be prohibitive. Loving your videos mate, very informative.
How’s the UD? How big is the tray?
Goes really well mate, very happy with it. It’s got a 30ft tray on it!
@@ourfarmlifeaus Do you have a grain bin for it?
