I remember finding out a long time ago that this game has some random lovecraftian themes, because that boss isn't a Dragon - its a Mi-go alien from Lovecraft's "The Whisperer in Darkness"
Well spotted. Also Restiana's pet/mount is a mini-byakhee. I wonder if one of those blob monsters is supposed to be a shoggoth.
They went overboard with those explosion sprites with the first boss 😂
Directed by Michael Bay
Cybernator for SNES had similar explosions
@@youisiaint Cybernator, wow, you reminded me of that classic, one of the best SNES games, old school Konami
An good game, with a peruvian-female protagonist...
Curious.
tbh, even when the game's released in 1991, kinda shocked to see that some bosses pushing a bit of limit from Mega Drive itself. that's pretty cool~
That’s Wolf Team for ya.
Can you imagine all this shit happening in 1928? Also, I thought the Empire State Building was built in the 30s.
Welp, looks like yer’ learned history from wrong videogaems, normie, wryyyyyyyy !!!!!!
An explosive game like no other!! Another reason to showcase the prowess of the Genesis to people.
Also, awww poor Annet. Restiana wasn't gonna give up without a fight, surrendering or not.
Interesting, there's a bit of a Lovecraftian vibe here between the Fungi from Yuggoth "Dragon" and "Hastur" being the final boss.
Yes, and Slime boss looks like Shoggot
And Restiana's mount is a Byakhee.
grew up with this, the soundtrack is always in my walkman, discman, mp3 player, now phone. Along with Earnest Evans ost. Btw i used water magic (second blue) for the Slime boss, whenever the core near the ground, the blue magic hurts it.
The dude who did this soundtrack did Dark Souls 1's soundtrack as well wtf
Pretty cool seeing the Genesis doing that slime boss in that way, it’s similar to that slime boss that came later in Yoshi’s Island, but no FX chip or anything.
this game was really hard. One of my proudest clear as a kid.
Welp, I'm too late to comment that the dragon isn't a dragon, but a Mi-Go, from Yuggoth. I guess the offical boss name is still 'dragon', though.
Very impressive - great job doing all this without getting hit!
There is a way to deal with the stage 3 boss much more quickly, however - the water magic tears through the green targets pretty easily as they float along the floor, so you can get them out of the way faster.
That slime boss looks utterly obnoxious, but otherwise this looks like a great game!
Before Hastur (a.k.a. The King in Yellow) began possessing babies he possessed killer assassin ninjas. The sudden change in vessels proves 1 thing... *that BABIES are more dangerous than ninjas!!* Just ask anybody who has played "The Baby in Yellow".
uff que juego difícil
❤❤❤❤❤
😮 Oooo cool game👍
Huh, I was always under the impression Mi-Go defeated their enemies by overwhelming them with numbers, thralls, and psychic assaults, I never figured they would adopt the Cup Game as their fighting style.
I think the 1st boss is tougher than most of the others
Tĥe bosses remind me a little Contra hard corps.
The game's title means "wind".
Hay un manga q se pueda leer?
Castlevania revamped please
第5ボスの時のプレイヤーが放つ縱ビームが“シルバークロス”(ミラーマン)に見える…
I remember having a crush on the mc 🤣
Heh, you did this trilogy backwards.
