Commenting to help the algorithm because this deserves to be seen way more. The images are so funny, letterbomb's intro being princess peach's letter killed me. Speaking of, Letterbomb goes so extremely hard. American Idiot is my favorite album and you did such a killer job with this, really talented stuff.
What I like most about this adaptation of this rock album is that it doesn't try to use exactly the same instruments as the original version, but rather it uses keyboards, trumpets and things like that and adapts them to Mario's style and not the other way around. I love that in the explosions of the chorus where there should be electric guitars, there are only explosions of organs, keyboards and trumpets, so it does sound like something that could easily be on the SM64
I'll tell you how good this is. I've not listened to Whatshername in 15 years since my girlfriend at the time decided to have an abortion, and I named the unborn kid Whatshername. I've actually deleted the song from my Apple Music just so it doesn't actually play. This is the first time I've listened to the entire album in full since 2009, and I have to say it's phenomenal. From the Mario scream in Letterbomb, to being original with the way instruments are used, this in my opinion is better than the musical as a piece of music, and that's really saying something. There's literally only one thing I think was missing which was the underdub of 'Don't wanna be an American idiot' at the end of Rock N' Roll Girlfriend, but almost no-one gets that! I dof my cap to you!
Cause care has gone into the selection of the instruments, unlike the normal "soundfont" remixes you'll find that try to emulate the original as much as possible, this one tries to emulate the style of the game it comes from and make something good from it
The flute parts in boulevard of broken dreams sound like it belongs in Zelda Spirit Tracks and I love it, truly a masterpiece, glad there are people dedicated to this kind of project
This is genuinely beautiful. It's not just the soundfont you made it with, you turned it into mario 64's style and really brought forth the beauty of the harmonies and melodies in this album. Genuinely, I cannot praise this enough. Outstanding fucking work. I nearly cried at boulevard...
I’ve always been a sucker for the old midi versions of songs. This brings back memories, but also brilliant that it’s made with Super Mario 64 sounds. Love it!
This is such an incredible achievement! It's rubbish that you don't have more views for this given the work this must have taken but you should be so proud of yourself for accomplishing this at all!
I have to say!! I appreciate all the work that went into this so much! Using the original single artwork as a basis for the visuals, making the beginning of Letterbomb a letter from peach, time stamping the individual songs within JoS and Homecoming, and just of course just how great the songs themselves all came out and how well done this is! I can feel the passion for Super Mario, Green Day, and the album as a whole OOZING from this video and I adore it for that. KUDOS!!
This straddles the line between ska, church music, and a bunch of other genres that should not be mixed with Green Day and it somehow works amazingly. Extraordinary Girl sounds like it could be an actual Mario song.
I have never even played a single Mario game all the way through but this is some brilliant arrangement. I do production and remix work often and this is fantastic.
holy shit! this album still goes super hard in mario 64, somehow. also i was in awe of the effort it took to do this BEFORE i read that you did all of the arrangements yourself- that's absolutely inspired. i've recently been messing around with soundfonts and pre-made midis and that's it's whole own thing, but doing it all from scratch? and with one of my all time favorite albums ever? absolute kudos, man. this is phenomenal.
wake me up when September ends still managed to make me feel the same emotions as i did when i first listened to the original. that is truly incredible you were able to do that even without any lyrics or the instruments from the og. great work on the album as a whole.
It takes time and affert to this kinda of these things I knowi was in musical band in 4th grade up to 12th grade I like how they did it with Jesus of Subraria

No way I only read this now...
Dear Mario:
Nobody likes you,
everyone left you,
they're all out without you
having fun.
Yours truly ---
Princess Toadstool, Peach
I got a toad in the mountain
i got a toad in the castle
i haven't eaten a shroom in 22 days
so get off my case
@@smithofagents Off,off my case!
Holy shit I did NOT expect that opening riff to go so hard.
It hit rapid fire, like a machine gun... and then I realized I left playback speed on 2x
I did not expect the entire thing to go so hard
The opening riff was AMAZING
did it? 🤔
THE WAHHHHHH AT THE SCREAM IN LETTERBOMB LMFAOOOOOOO
Hearing these compositions on Mario soundfont really forces you to realize just how musically dynamic this whole album is. Truly an opera.
Jesus of Suburbia was... Healing? Like it takes all the pain and anger and puts it into retrospect. Like credits rolling.
Everybody's saying it's Mario of Suburbia and Saint Wario...but consider this. What if it's really Luigi of Suburbia and Mr. L???
Broooo Jesus of Suburbia hits different
"Wake me up when September ends" with the selected instrument banks is a masterpiece. Especially the "Bowser Battle" drums are brilliant.
Jesus of Suburbia is so beautiful I almost cried
I did cry

Thanks! This is my favorite album too
I’m here for the algorithm and this its awesome
I wonder how hard it would be to get 8 red coins in Jingletown
The Mario scream in Letterbomb is probably the best choice you made in the entire project 👌
This is fucking AMAZING. If you feel inclined, you should do Dookie
A dookie one already exists
Jesus Of Suburbia is my favourite, but the intro of W.M.U.W.S.E. mades me cry😭

Jesus Of Suburbia sounds like literal church orgen
I'll tell you how good this is.

Just went back and listened to homecoming, blew my mind. How tf have i never noticed that?????
I wish one of those tiktokers stops me to ask what song I'm listening. And I'll be like: Jesus of the Mushroom Kingdom by the Green Mario's
the opening riff sounds so happy lmao
holy FUCK letterbomb is a goddamn masterpiece
Carrying toad over the bear trap, and the music, both totally awesome. Great drum work on toms in the opening track too
St. Jimmy really works as an bgm of a "mirror/negative" form of Mario
I can die peacefully now. Also funnily enough this album came out around the same time as the DS remake lol.
I don’t understand why this goes so hard, but it does go really hard for no reason at all
Cause care has gone into the selection of the instruments, unlike the normal "soundfont" remixes you'll find that try to emulate the original as much as possible, this one tries to emulate the style of the game it comes from and make something good from it
@@littleredruri thank you
It's weird that I've listened to this on a loop probably at least 10 times now, and yet I hear new things on every listen. It's very good.
The flute parts in boulevard of broken dreams sound like it belongs in Zelda Spirit Tracks and I love it, truly a masterpiece, glad there are people dedicated to this kind of project
Whatsername starts off sounding like the Bowser battle song.
I didn't know I needed this until I heard this
Letterbomb hits hard and the main character of this album is Saint Mario lol
This is genuinely brilliant, love american idiot and this is hilarious.
This is genuinely beautiful. It's not just the soundfont you made it with, you turned it into mario 64's style and really brought forth the beauty of the harmonies and melodies in this album. Genuinely, I cannot praise this enough. Outstanding fucking work. I nearly cried at boulevard...
The sheet dedication of this... my mind can't comprehend it
I’ve always been a sucker for the old midi versions of songs. This brings back memories, but also brilliant that it’s made with Super Mario 64 sounds. Love it!
Whatsername drum intro is bowser’s fight theme
I am from Brazil. Wow, this mix was incredible! I loved Mario of Suburbia.
This is such an incredible achievement! It's rubbish that you don't have more views for this given the work this must have taken but you should be so proud of yourself for accomplishing this at all!
Thank you so much! I'm just happy that anyone who hears it enjoys it, that's why I made it. :)
Are We The Waiting’s intro is amazing 🥲
Commenting to appreciate the high notes from the awesome as fuck version of city of the damned. Thanks 🤝
St. Jimmy sounds like a racing mini-game or a counterclock event and I absolutely love it. Great work!
Thanks, this is beautiful. A masterpiece, truly.
Wow, "Wake Me Up When September Ends" is AWE-INSPIRING. An absolutely artful adaption!
This goes so hard I love it, absolute bangers all.
This reminds me of Streetlight Manifesto
Oh my god this is a masterpiece how have I not stumbled upon this sooner
The SM64 crash goes so hard
WHY DOES NOVACAINE HIT SO HARD OMG
Great work all around! Extraordinary Girl is my favorite one out of these, man does that sitar put in some work there.
I have to say!! I appreciate all the work that went into this so much! KUDOS!!
Whatsername in SM64 remix sounds fire 🔥
Ok but this actually dope, dude I hope it gets more views
This is the second most wonderful video on the internet, beautiful.
what is the first?
Phenomenal work, liked your guitar covers as well.
THATS SOO AMAZING,THANKS❤❤❤
City of the damned is a bop 🔥🔥
This is amazing. I would love to hear one for Dookie since it’s 30 years in 2024.
This straddles the line between ska, church music, and a bunch of other genres that should not be mixed with Green Day and it somehow works amazingly. Extraordinary Girl sounds like it could be an actual Mario song.
Amazing work! Keep it up and I cant wait to see what you get up to next!
This is such a happy vibe
Wake me up when September ends hit the best but it was all amazing, I see this getting hundreds of thousands of views
Absolutely amazing...
I'm commenting to help the algorithm
This goes unbelievably hard
So cool! Thank you so much for that
Oh wow, this is high quality! Good job, I enjoyed it even more than I thought.
I have never even played a single Mario game all the way through but this is some brilliant arrangement. I do production and remix work often and this is fantastic.
this has forced me to confront how much the concept story on american idiot fits the structure of an rpg. "st jimmy has joined your party!"
HOLY SHIT
fucking hell how did you manage to do it this well omg
That's TOO MUCH GOOD
Well...
There goes my next hour
This sounds so good omg!!
holy shit! this album still goes super hard in mario 64, somehow.

St Jimmy is what should play when you do the koopa the quick races.
youre amazing !
That Jesus Of Suburbia with the pan flute tho
this is the one singlest greatest thing that has happened to me today
Holiday sounds so good
A follow-up covering the Dean Gray American Edit mashup remixes would be great.
Es una verdadera obra de arte 😭💞
She's a Rebel will *always* go hard
I knew I needed something like this in my life but never though Id see it *wipes happy tear from eye*
love this!
You made my day. This is fucking awesome
wake me up when September ends still managed to make me feel the same emotions as i did when i first listened to the original. that is truly incredible you were able to do that even without any lyrics or the instruments from the og. great work on the album as a whole.
I did not expect this NOR did I know I wanted this. Thank you!
truly beautiful
I was brought here for a reason. This slaps!
This is amazing, man! I would like to hear a version of 21st century breakdown, it would be fabulous!😻
Thanks! I'm thinking of doing either 21st Century or Dookie next. When I do they'll be on my 2nd channel Jim Turrstten 64.
I'll be watching!🐱
This goes unfathomably hard
i really like Letterbomb it sounds like a track youd hear in Mario Kart 64
The beginning sounds like The Happy Organ by Dave Cortez or Tequila by the Champs, both songs from the late 1950s 😂
This is art!
this is actually so fucking awesome, good job man
HOLY MOLY pretty good job
Very well done
It takes time and affert to this kinda of these things I knowi was in musical band in 4th grade up to 12th grade I like how they did it with Jesus of Subraria
I just clicked and within the first half second yelled “NO WAY”
Is it weird that I get a more symphonic prog rock vibe from these arrangements?
this shit SLAPS BRO
