@sakalCT I had been listening to Blood Red Throne for about 2-3 years before I saw them live and I knew what to expect. I got nothing less than I expected, although it's a damn shame they had to play at 10 am.
@Hampe966 All three of those bands you mentioned were great once. Dimmu's For All Tid and the original Stormblast are BM classics, Satyricon's first three albums medieval themed BM, and CoF's demos and The Principles of Evil Made Flesh are brutal.

@ofwotansblood Have you seen Until the Light Takes Us? There he said that music like that don't influence them but they can listen to it (The Kovenant just got pwned). And yeah, BM isn't the only music genre, there is also death and thrash metal... :P
Behemoth is in a completely different category, they have always made black and death and they still make that style, the fact that it is more technical cannot be compared to Dimmu or COF who changed their style considerably and then attained commercial success.
@GuidoMetallo i agree for the most part, but at the same time I recognize that you and I are in no position to talk down to these bands. They've contributed a lot to metal and that fact remains even though they no longer play the same exact style they did 10 years ago.

The name comes from the 1987 Norwegian film "Pathfinder". In the film, the Tsjuder are a mythical northern Russian tribe.
