I’m new to helicopters, I just maidened the flywing FW450, and already want to move on to other pnp models, but I don’t know anything about setting up helicopter gyros. I’ll probably use the flywing h1 for awhile, but don’t know how to set it up on a pnp model.

Very nice model , is ther e a big difference between the 212 and Huey in handling (flying) ? Do you like the Sprit GTr unit , i didnt get altitude good working on my 212 , and changed it for a BD Axon .
Thanks I appreciate it! I have owned the 212 and UH-1D and I would say they fly about the same. A lot of fun of course! I have had great luck with spirit RS and GTR. I don’t use the geolink I use heading hold and “scale” stabilization mode. Gain is at 30%. The rotor head is vario SKS huey head with stabilizer bar and blades are vario 810mm scale blades. L.H. R. Headspeed is 1250rpm

Egodrift makes a few motors specifically for the HSM 800 Roban mechanic. They have two different KV options for 4 blade rotor head and 2 blade rotor head. Both run cool, efficient and have extended motor shaft length to accept the 3rd bearing block on the HSM 800 mechanic.

Flywing helis are all GPS. The big ones aren’t. Get foot flying in manual mode first
