CT-RGSSA-L: ADJUSTABLE LINEAR TERMINATION TOOL FOR RG59, RG6, BNC & RCA TYPE COMPRESSION CONNECTORS
How to use a CT-RGSSA-L adjustable linear termination tool for RG59, RG6, BNC & RCA type compression connectors. Materials required:
CT-RGSSA: adjustable linear termination tool.
TMRG-XXCONSS: compression connector
Step 1:
Release latch on back of tool to open. Make sure your tool is set to the right compression setting. You can do so by adjusting the thumb screw to set the tool. (Tool comes pre-set already) no need to worry this is just in case you need to make any adjustments).
Step 2:
Determine which compression connector you will be using.
Step 3:
If terminating a (TMRG-6CONSSU) F-TYPE connector, the tool comes with the F-CONNECTOR adaptor. This adaptor just snaps in place inside the tool, it is also removable.
Step 4:
Make sure F-ADAPTOR is in place and now you’re ready to terminate your (TMRG-6CONSSU) F-TYPE connector).insert compression connector into tool and squeeze handle & release. (Please refer to TSOC MINUTE VIDEO on how to terminate A (TMRG-6CONSSU) F-TYPE connector).
Step 5: The tool comes with an F-ADAPTOR storage compartment located on the bottom side of the tool, if not terminating any F-type compression connectors you can store your adaptor here for future use.
Step 6:
If terminating a RCA (TMRG-6RCONSS) or BNC (TMRG-6BCONSS) compression type connector, remove the F-CONNECTOR adaptor and place it in its storage compartment for future use.
Step 7:
Insert RCA/BNC compression connector into the slot and squeeze handle to perform the termination. Once completed release handle and remove connector. (Please refer to TSOC MINUTE VIDEO on how to terminate A (RCA (TMRG-6RCONSS) or BNC (TMRG-6BCONSS) compression type connector).
