DW Santa Monica kit demo - better audio

This is the same clip I posted before, but now with synced audio from my Tascam recorder. The audio track is lossless 16/44, so this is a better representation of what these drums sound like with limited processing, but good microphones.

Still waiting for DW to launch this new offering to there line up.They sound fantastic.Cant sell them if only a handful of people know about them. COME ON DW.!!!

You can get them right now! They've chosen not to release these as an official product launch for some reason. But you can order them from the Collector's line; just specify Santa Monica shells.

@@bellbrass I realize that but how did you first learn about this series.?? These are some of the best sounding drums DW are putting out.I can't figure out why it's such a secret.

@@davidsuprenant893 I heard about them from John Good through my dealer, Chris at Donn Bennett. I don't know why the series hasn't gotten a bigger launch; maybe because there's already a lot going on with new products at DW.

@@bellbrass please list sizes 4 or 5 drums. WRAP or lacquer? What do you need to get out of them? Any issues with the kit?
