@@KR-oo2wx So if I load a bar with 70% 1RM and over 50% of the load comes from bands I classify that as 'hard' in your eyes? "Do not speak to me of the old magic witch. I was there when it was written." Bands are primarily for dynamic or power biased efforts ya dingus.
@@GiovaniUrrutiayou are definitely wrong. The bands change the strength speed curve and depending on how you use it can change at what point the movement is harder. You can use bands for strength, speed, hypertrophy, endurance, plyometric training, etc. Example, doing banded barbell squats makes it harder throughout the squat but hardest toward the top of the squat where you are strongest because the tension on the band increases, similar to hanging chains on the bar. This creates a progressive overload within each rep.
How unprecedented is that? An inside look @ Air Force Special Operations Command ( AFSOC) Tier One Special Tactics ( PJs, CCT, TACP and SR, formerly known as SOWT) ,via Physical Training. WOW ( Weapons Of War), that's Awesome Possum!!🇺🇸🦅🗽⚔️🗡️💣💥💪
The 26th is a special forces unit comprised of a lot of different special forces units (combat controllers, pararescuemen, technicians ETC) they're "elite" when comparing them to average soldiers. It's certainly not easy to make it in any of their units. But the 24th are the "Tier 1" unit of the Air Force. They're the elite of the elite. They deploy with Delta Force, DEVGRU ETC. Active duty 24th members would never be in some youtube workout video showing their faces.

@@larrybeel5143 thanks man, right now I do weighted calisthenics, as calisthenics is most of what they do in training. Push ups, pull ups, all that stuff.
@@ILOVETHEPHILLIES1883 I know the unit ... it's made up of PJ's and CCT's & SR that attach specifically to Delta and ST 6 (and other SMU's I'm sure). Keep in mind, this AF unit has a training budget in 80-100 million dollar range (it's a guess because it's secret, but it's a good guess), so they have on staff S&C coaches and nutritionists and anything else you can think of. Think about this ... of the high level athletes that score high enough on the PAST test and get a contract to start training, 90% fail out. Of the rock stars that make it through training, this unit is the top 10% of that.
when you're so strong you not only max out the equipment but also have to add elastic bands to them to make it more challenging
Bands aren’t to make it harder, more so to increase speed of the movement.
@@GiovaniUrrutiahich makes it harder genius. Hence why they’re called RESISTANCE bands

it isn't this is the 26th sts
this isn't 24th sts
Nice work! Especially the banded deads and KB swings!
Good video
Damn. Even tier 1 special forces are suseptible to bro-science at the gym.
Examples? The only ones the might be strange are the banded kettlebells and the banded reverse hypers. Everything else is 100% legit.
This is the 26th STS, Not the 24th.
Is it still as elite or no, because being a 24th sts operator is my absolute dream job.
