    Very nice idea and thanks for providing me with one of your USB-C-boards! It's worth to mention that there are different versions of the board. In my case, I needed to solder ground directly to the capacitor, since I didn't find any ground close to the port. I had two soldering points directly next to it (one with 5v, one with ground - don't use this one for ground, since it will make the capacitor useless, as ground will be before the capacitor then). Hope this helps someone.

      No worries, thank you for mentioning this. As components get discontinued Logitech might need to adjust their board even within the same MX mouse version. I'll pin this comment for others to see.

      Thanks for the note! Just wondering, do you have the original MX Master? Or is it the MX Master 2 like Tomas?

      @@manii175 it's the MX Master. That might explain it 😉 But obviously Tomas board also works for that one.

    Amazing. I'm on a mission to find diy's to convert all my usb to usbc!
    Question, with your board, you mentioned it was very simple etc, does this mean i wouldn't be able to plug it into the pc and have all normal functionality?

    • @TomasApolonia
      @TomasApolonia  3 месяца назад

      No you still have full functionality. The mx master never had a wired in option, the data of your movements is still happening over Bluetooth. The micro usb or usb c only does power.

      Unfortunately, I live in another country. Delivery to me will be very expensive.
      I was thinking of making the board myself.@@TomasApolonia

    Great idea, but $30 including shipping seems really expensive for a simple breadboard.

      Fair enough, feel free to take inspo from my board and design and fab your own :)

      @@TomasApolonia That's exactly what I did. I ended up buying generic mini USB-C Boards from Amazon 10 board for $9. I would have considered buying one of your boards for something reasonable like $10, but $30 is a freaking joke. That's just straight up greed, good job losing a potential sale.
