Poor Uncle Serge doesn’t get much love on Y/T anymore and it’s one of my very favorite houses. I also love Wulong Cha and Winter Palace - wore the latter the other day. It’s totally unique and comforting - reminds me of visits to Chinatown tea houses in NYC when I was a little kid. Fun to have a vid from you on a Friday 🙏 Thank you! weather check: in the high 30’s this AM in Scottsdale 🥶 and heat is on! It takes us a while, but our “winter” is finally here. Oooh. I adore tea fragrances. I love One Umbrella for Two. That presentation in the bento box, the bottle, etc. Such a unique, gorgeous scent. Blueberry, rice and tea. But too pricey for me So I'll make my 3 samples last. 😂. Or I will drop some big hints around my birthday. I also love Unknown Pleasures by Kerosene. There is a lovely Earl Grey tea note that prevents the gourmand- lemony aspect from becoming too sweet. I also got a good deal on Molecule 1 + Black Tea from Eccentric Molecules. It delivers just that. A realistic black tea fragrance. My thought was to combine this with other fragrances that are fruit forward.

Veronica, Penhaligon's Lothair is really good. It has black tea amongst other notes but it settles into a comforting Tea scent. Thanks for sharing. I would love to try so many of these.
My favorite tea fragrance so far is Ormande Jayne Champaca. I'm sampling Hima Jomo Tchai and find it really nice. That brand just came out with 3 different tea fragrances, but I haven't played around enough to determine my favorite yet.
I'm glad to see my favorite Tea fragrance mentioned--Tea for Two. I never hear enough people talk about it. I'm already on my second bottle of Tea for Two. I love au The Blanc from Bvlgari despite it wearing very delicately on the skin. It layers well with Nemat's Narcissus fragrance oil
I enjoy hot tea of many varieties on occasion! I do love iced tea in the cooler months. Unfortunately tea notes in fragrance just don’t agree with my body chemistry. Great video as usual! I need to try Indigo, I love a great minty scent mixed in with fragrances! 😊

It was hideous!😝 I smelled it again today and it wasn't quite as hideous!😁Maybe it just needs to sit for ten years! Update on oil version of Tobacco Vanille..it wasn't bad at all! I wasn't tempted to scrub my skin down to the bone....😂 Have you ever tried Xerjoff Bouquet Ideale? Someone sent me a sample with purchase on Mercari. I Love it! I love a tea note! But I do think they are hard to find, because they usually also have a lot of citrus, which I don't love. I own Wulong Cha by Nishane, but I do find it a bit too much citrus. I have owned Thé Tonique, which I loved and completely finished, but I think it's time for a different one. I also owned Chai by Barutti, but my husband and son hate that one with a burning passion. I haven’t found a tea fragrance that I like yet. I tried Gris charnel but that had something that repulsed me in it😂These sound nice! Looking forward to getting my nose on some of them! Thanks Veronica!
I can’t wake up to tea but I love it in my fragrance. I need coffee to wake me up but I am not fond of coffee in fragrance. I like tea with some oriental food and as an afternoon pick me up. I think this preference extends to my fragrance as well. I love the Bulgari OG tea fragrances. Fig Tea from Patricia de Nicolai is my favourite fig and tea fragrance. I have had Tea for Two for ages but I bought Russian Tea this summer. It’s beautiful.

I’d love to try Tea for two as I love the smell and taste of Russian Caravan tea. As a typical Brit I drink 5-10 cups a day and love Assam, Jasmin Pearls, Genmeicha (Sp?) and good old fashioned ‘builder’s tea’ I just got Ecentruc molecules with black tea today which I really like and also love Russian Tea by Masque Milano. Hi Veronica. We take our daily cuppa very seriously in the UK🫶. I love strong builders tea in the morning then earl grey or rooibas tea in the afternoon. Your collection is top drawer; i have most of them and would love to add the Floraiku to my collection some day. I have Jo Malone's Earl Grey and Cucumber which is very refreshing and reminds me of English gin & tonic rather than tea😂😂.
Great video, Veronica! Tea is not my favorite note, but I do love One Umbrella for Two and Inlé by Memo Paris. I have Thé Noir, which I've unfortunately discovered is a bit too smoky on my skin (only got the 15 ml thank goodness). Another one I love, which I don't have yet, is Russian Tea by Masque Milano. I'm going to drink more tea over the holidays when my son is home! I bought some gluten free/dairy free biscotti that he can have, and we can have some tea and dunk our biscotti! ❤😊 Tea is almost a dealbreaker note in perfumes for me though, but I'm actually wearing one right now! 😆 (It was in my advent calendar that's the only reason why) 😂 It's not released yet according to what I read 🤔

The gratitude message is everything ❤❤❤ I own One Umbrella For Two but I don't wear it enough, mainly because the ouverture is overwhelming. I get burning sugar and not in a good way (like when you're baking and the batter spills inside the oven and burns). I don't know why I experience this! Is it the black currant perhaps?
"Chai" means tea. You're probably referring to masala chai (spiced tea). If you have South Asian grocers nearby, you can probably find chai masala to brew your own, if you're in the mood for it. We always have cardamom, ginger, and Ceylon cinnamon on hand so I don't use the readymade masala mix. But you just reminded me to pick up some chai masala for my niece, because we have both sampled every "chai" flavored tea at the supermarket and they never taste authentic. Not sure what tea smells like in fragrance, except for Arden Green Tea which has made me avoid it. I'll have to check some out at the fragrance counter. 😊
Hey there! Yes, chai means tea but it's also used more generally in the states to describe spicy tea 🍵, watered down as it may seem in what's sold commercially here. I like your idea of picking up more authentic spiced tea from a South Asian grocery. 👍👍👍
@VeronicaSays I do love me some spiced cha (Punjabi for chai, which is Hindi). Not sure how I feel about smelling like it, or coffee, or even cola 😀 I got another bottle of French Coffee just to spray in the room. On me, it dries down to a bitter black coffee scent, though someone described the dry-down as just the sweet creamy aspect. I guess I have weird skin, or not as broad of an olfactory palate?
Ever since I got my BDK Gris Charnel, I have legitimately forgotten that any other note exists in the world. My husband says I smell like fancy depression. 😂 I regret nothing.
happy holidays, have you tried the discontinued commodity Tea fragrance, I picked up a bottle about a year ago in tjmaxx but have not opened, just curious if you have smelled and your opinion.
I am in olfactiory heaven - I never smelled the original Baccarat Rouge 540 and got a free sample in my box today (of Sugar Leather). maybe tea isnt my thing, I had to sell BDK Gris Chanel bc it didnt work, same with Matcha Meditation.

I have the Serge Lutens 5 O'Clock au Gingembre. Nice scent profile but performance is NOT good. I can detect an overlaping DNA with Serge Lutens Ruesse as well.
IMO although they share some of the same notes they're different. 5 O'clock Au Gingembre lasts longer and takes you on a journey whereas GB is quite linear.
HA HA HA yeassss sock water. 😂😂. I love and have Green Tea by Elizabeth, Kilian love don’t be shy extreme and don’t need a prince to be a princess however I love the original formula more than the new one. ❤ Oriana as well.

I love a tea note! But I do think they are hard to find, because they usually also have a lot of citrus, which I don't love. I own Wulong Cha by Nishane, but I do find it a bit too much citrus. I have owned Thé Tonique, which I loved and completely finished, but I think it's time for a different one. I also owned Chai by Barutti, but my husband and son hate that one with a burning passion.

I can’t wake up to tea but I love it in my fragrance. I need coffee to wake me up but I am not fond of coffee in fragrance. I like tea with some oriental food and as an afternoon pick me up. I think this preference extends to my fragrance as well. I love the Bulgari OG tea fragrances. Fig Tea from Patricia de Nicolai is my favourite fig and tea fragrance. I have had Tea for Two for ages but I bought Russian Tea this summer. It’s beautiful.

I’d love to try Tea for two as I love the smell and taste of Russian Caravan tea. As a typical Brit I drink 5-10 cups a day and love Assam, Jasmin Pearls, Genmeicha (Sp?) and good old fashioned ‘builder’s tea’

Great video, Veronica! Tea is not my favorite note, but I do love One Umbrella for Two and Inlé by Memo Paris. I have Thé Noir, which I've unfortunately discovered is a bit too smoky on my skin (only got the 15 ml thank goodness). Another one I love, which I don't have yet, is Russian Tea by Masque Milano. Need to try Remember Me!

I'm going to drink more tea over the holidays when my son is home! I own One Umbrella For Two but I don't wear it enough, mainly because the ouverture is overwhelming. I get burning sugar and not in a good way (like when you're baking and the batter spills inside the oven and burns). I don't know why I experience this! Is it the black currant perhaps?

"Chai" means tea. You're probably referring to masala chai (spiced tea). If you have South Asian grocers nearby, you can probably find chai masala to brew your own, if you're in the mood for it. We always have cardamom, ginger, and Ceylon cinnamon on hand so I don't use the readymade masala mix. But you just reminded me to pick up some chai masala for my niece, because we have both sampled every "chai" flavored tea at the supermarket and they never taste authentic. Not sure what tea smells like in fragrance, except for Arden Green Tea which has made me avoid it. I'll have to check some out at the fragrance counter. 😊
Hey there! Yes, chai means tea but it's also used more generally in the states to describe spicy tea 🍵, watered down as it may seem in what's sold commercially here. I like your idea of picking up more authentic spiced tea from a South Asian grocery. 👍👍👍
@VeronicaSays I do love me some spiced cha (Punjabi for chai, which is Hindi). Not sure how I feel about smelling like it, or coffee, or even cola 😀 I got another bottle of French Coffee just to spray in the room. On me, it dries down to a bitter black coffee scent, though someone described the dry-down as just the sweet creamy aspect. I guess I have weird skin, or not as broad of an olfactory palate?

I am in olfactiory heaven - I never smelled the original Baccarat Rouge 540 and got a free sample in my box today (of Sugar Leather). maybe tea isnt my thing, I had to sell BDK Gris Chanel bc it didnt work, same with Matcha Meditation.

I have the Serge Lutens 5 O'Clock au Gingembre. Nice scent profile but performance is NOT good. I can detect an overlaping DNA with Serge Lutens Ruesse as well.

IMO although they share some of the same notes they're different. 5 O'clock Au Gingembre lasts longer and takes you on a journey whereas GB is quite linear.
